i found this so umm... pretty picture. isn't it lovely?
anyway there's a little info about envy:
Profile:
Sarcastic, sadistic and cold-hearted, Envy has the ability to change appearance. He hates Mankind, viewing them as pitiful and weak. His appearance is androgynous althought he is male.
An effeminate figure with a dry wit, Envy (エンヴィー, Envī?) has the ability to assume the form of any person(or animal) and copy their voice, and the power to manipulate his body to form weapons and poisonous animals such as snakes. He is a skilled physical fighter with incredible brute strength but mainly takes advantage of his true form's massive size to overwhelm the enemy. Despite his fighting skills, Envy frequently expresses an aversion to fighting when the opportunity arises. In terms of physical strength, Envy is possibly the most exceptional of all of the Homunculi (excepting Sloth). His anime counterpart uses attacks ranging from simple punches and kicks to capoeira-like techniques. Envy is most comfortable in the "adorable" form of a young androgynous human. Envy's most valued contribution(s) to the Homunculus cause are impersonation, gathering information unnoticed, and using his ability to change form and carry out efficient assassinations. Envy's favored technique for murdering humans is to impersonate someone the target cares deeply for and use their natural hesitation as the opportunity needed to kill them. His Ouroboros tattoo is located on his left thigh.
Aside from being accountable for the death of Maes Hughes, it is Envy who sets Maria Ross up to take the fall for his murder. Recently, he took Doctor Tim Marcoh captive to meet someone for some goals unknown, before being told to intervene when Gluttony assumed his monstrous form. Like in the anime, the body Envy spends most of his time in does not belong to him. Having been mistakenly swallowed by Gluttony along with Edward and Ling, Envy gleefully reminiscences on perhaps his most cherished accomplishment: it was he that fired the shot that began the Ishbalan war, ending the life of a child and starting the chain of events leading to the destruction of Ishbal and the genocide of its inhabitants, the rise of Scar and his path of vengeance, and the death of Winry's parents. Being that Envy deems there to be no escape and their only future to be death, he also decides to show them something good.
Envy's true, monstrous form.It was then that Envy's genuine form, an enormous, demonic creature, was revealed. His build suggests him to be a vast heaving conglomeration of merged souls — the long-dead citizens of Xerxes, thus revealing that the Philosopher's Stone in Envy's body was the result of an entire city dying in one night. The faces of these souls undulating on Envy's body move and act independently of one another, either screaming out in pain, hopelessly twisted and homicidal, or desperately longing for death. They continually mutate and rearrange themselves, constantly trying to reach the 'surface' where they can be heard.
This 'extra weight' Envy carries with him could account for the amazing physical strength he possesses, leading to the notion that he can change his size, shape, appearance and density, but not his true mass. While powerful, Envy is very self-conscious of his true monstrous form.
The various voices that sound from a myriad of mouths work as a method of distraction, trying to tune into specific voices and keywords to stun his opponents while he attacks.
He used this tactic to take advantage of Edward's despair and devoured him whole. Within his gullet, Edward caught a glimpse of the Philosopher's Stone held inside Envy's body and hit upon an idea. Imploring the Homunculus for assistance and a brief pause in their current battle, the two struck a deal – Envy agreed to lend the energy from his Stone to Edward, which was used to break down their bodies and reform them on the other side of the Doors of Truth, letting them escape into the real world once again. Despite the drain of souls from Envy's Stone, he survived the escape. Later, he is seen to have met up with Kimbley, giving him the new Philosopher's Stone made from Dr. Marcoh's acquaintances.
The Perfect Guide Book 2 lists him as the fourth Homunculus created by Father.
Envy's favored technique for murdering humans was to impersonate someone the target cared deeply for, and use their natural hesitation as the opportunity to kill them. His English voice actor is Wendy Powell, and the Japanese voice actor is Mayumi Yamaguchi.
Envy is not seen in his preferred form until the beginning of episode 14, and he does not reveal his original form until episode 50. As the oldest Homunculus, Envy claimed that he had forgotten what he originally looked like; this was a lie stemming out hatred for his "father", Hohenheim. This was because Hohenheim was the one who created Envy, trying to bring back his first son (who died of mercury poisoning around the age of eighteen). Envy hated all humans and followed Dante mostly for the opportunity of killing as many people as he could. This was what drove Envy in all that he did; unlike other Homunculi, Envy did not care about the Philosopher's Stone, nor about becoming human. His most prominent murder was that of Maes Hughes: after his cover was blown while he impersonated Second Lieutenant Ross, Envy transformed into Hughes' wife Gracia, using Hughes' hesitation to fatally shoot him. Envy was also key in imprisoning Greed, against whom he had a long-standing grudge, within the 5th Laboratory. It is notable that Envy had no love for his homunculi brethren, antagonizing his first "brother", Greed, and quickly turning upon Gluttony, Wrath, and even the higher ranked Pride. The only character that posed the possibility of a relationship with Envy was Dante herself. Envy was usually Dante's enforcer, carrying out her whims more directly than most of the sins, and he was apparently more comfortable in her presence than the others. However, Envy also lashed out at Dante with particular intensity when she impeded his ambition of death and revenge. Well aware of the power that Dante held over him, Envy was at once the most uncontrollable and the most reliable member of Dante's legion. It is revealed in the penultimate episode that Envy was created four hundred years ago by Hohenheim in an attempt to resurrect the son he and Dante had, who had died from mercury poisoning when he was eighteen years old. Envy held a great hatred toward Hohenheim for never being acknowledged as his son and for abandoning him and Dante. As a result, he also hated his younger "half-brothers" Edward and Alphonse as they obtained the fatherly love that Envy himself never received. When learning from Dante that Hohenheim was gone, Envy snapped at being denied his wish to kill him. The fact that the Elrics possessed the stone and would gain back all that they had lost made Envy more "envious" of the Elrics and on making them suffer as he had. However, Edward managed to see through Envy's disguises and tricks until the Homunculus revealed his true form (an imitation of Hohenheim's deceased son with Dante) and his connection to Hohenheim. That stunt was all it took for Envy to successfully kill Edward, as the distraction gave Envy enough time to pierce Edward through his heart. Envy is then transported to the gate by Alphonse, meeting up with Edward again. Upon learning Hohenheim still alive on the other side of the Gate, Envy was able to successfully open and make his way through the doors. Once inside the gate, the creatures attacked him, but he fought them off by transforming into Edward, then, just before finishing his demand to see his father, he changed once again into his original human form, probably as a way to get the creatures in the gate to take him to Hohenheim faster, which might explain the Edward transformation. By the time he made his way through to the other side, Envy became a serpentine dragon.
