Ethan was born and raised in Taiwan, but his father was a military man, so he moved around a lot.He attended Hsing Wu College and is currently romantically linked with Tiffany Xu (ISWAK and TKA)
He started his career in 2004 when he participated in the drama Michael the Archangel's Dance as Ghost. Several dramas followed among them Green Forest, My Home in 2005, Summer X Summer in 2007, and Fated To Love You (2008). Currently, he is starring as the male lead, Lucas in the extremely popluar drama Defeated Queen/ My Queen.
