~ 10 Years Anniversary Countdown ~

On the 10th of June, 2009 Gackt released Koakuma Heaven. This single is the first of four singles of the "10 Year Anniversary Countdown" which is a countdown to Gackt's 10th anniversary as solo artist. Each of the countdown singles will be release within a week of each other. The second single released in the "10 Year Anniversary Countdown" is Faraway released June 17. The third single released in the "10 Year Anniversary Countdown" is Lost Angels released June 24. The final single released in the "10 Year Anniversary Countdown" is Flower released July 1.

GACKT Kamen Rider Box Office Hit

Male artist GACKT took part in the new Kamen Rider movie (10th Heisei version). In 'Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Great Shocker', GACKT acted as Kamen Rider #4. The movie was released the day before yesterday at more than 345 theaters, attracting both young and old Kamen Rider fans alike. Film production and distribution company, Toho Company Ltd. estimates that the new film's opening day earning was more than 2.5 times that of last year's movie, 'Kamen Rider Kiva'. The box office earnings was at 2 billion yen. It has potential to become the biggest selling Kamen Rider movie. Not only did GACKT take part in the film, he also sang the theme song for it, titled 'The Next Decade'.

GACKT gonna to perform at 6th Asia Song Festival on September 19th

The show is set for 6 P.M. at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Northern Seoul. The organizers of the event, the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KFICE). There will also to have V6, SNSD / Girl's Generation, Super Junior, 2NE1, Big Bang, Mihimaru GT, Chinese Chris Lee, Taiwanese Show Luo, Thai K-Otic, Vietnamese Ho Ngoc Ha, Ekin Cheng (Singer/Actor from Hong Kong) and Indonesian Agnes Monica
