~CHARACTERS~
~Maron Kusakabe / Kaitou Jeanne
Naive and free-spirited, Maron is your perfect, ideal, high schooler. Good looks, an athlete, and smart, she has one big flaw. She believes that she is alone and is very vulnerable to criticism. She reaches out to sad children, whether regular or transformed. She thinks of Chiaki as a pervert but falls for him later. She is shocked and emotionally broken when she finds out that Chiaki is Kaitou Sindbad and that he approached her because he knew that she was Jeanne.
~Chiaki Nagoya / Kaitou Sindbad~
A playboy and the normal male protagonist, Chiaki is chased after by all the girls. He pretends to like and aim for Maron so that he could get more chess pieces, but she seems to dislike him greatly. While he is Jeanne's big-time rival in the beginning, he grows to like Maron / Jeanne genuinely and tries to become her ally in Season 2.
~Miyako Toudaiji~
Completely oblivious to the fact that her best friend is Kaitou Jeanne, Miyako goes with her dad to arrest the phantom thief. She is determined to catch Jeanne to clear Maron's name. She has a crush on Chiaki, but later realizes that he truly loves Maron and crying, tells Chiaki to make Maron happy and to protect her.
~Fin Fish~
Maron's sidekick. Although she abandons Maron in the end and reveals hersef to be on the Devil's side, she was brainwashed by the evil. Chiaki and Access went to save Maron because of this. She is brought back to heavenly good-ness by Jeanne and Sindbad.
~Access Time~
Chiaki's trusty sidekick. He has unrequited feelings for Fin. Even after she ditched him, he refused to give up and still loves Fin. In the manga, Fin eventually does accept Access.
