Hinamori Amu is a cool and spicy girl. At least that is what everyone thinks. It was actually a big misunderstanding. She is stubborn and everyone confused that with a cool personality. She is into fashion and they also thought she was cool because of the way she wore her school uniform. Even her parents think she is super cool.
She is actually horrible at sports, art, and is not girly at all. She also doesn't take scary stories very well. One night before she went to bed she wished she could be somebody else. The next morning she woke up with three decorated eggs in her bed. One with hearts, another with spades, and the third with clovers.
She has a crush on Hotori Tadase, The Kings Chair at Seiyo Elemantary. She confessed to him in front of everyone but, was rejected. The guardians invited her to a tea party at the royal garden. While there they invited her to be a guardian. She said no at first because she didn't want to wear the royal cape. Later she agreed to it, though.
Amu has three guardian characters. Ran, Miki, and Su. In Shugo Chara Doki she gets a fourth guardian. Her fourth egg is named Dia. She can and has character changed and transformed with each of her four charas. She cannot character transformer without the Humpty Lock. This is a lock she got when she joined the guardians. It has the shape of a four leaf clover. It was left by the founding king. He told the guardians to give it to a student who had three guardian eggs.





Tskuomi Ikuto is a middle schooler. He admitted to Amu that he was interedted in her. They went on a date to the fair once. Amu is always falling and Ikuto is always catching her.
For an unknown reason Tadase and Ikuto hate each other.
Ikuto's chara is a cat. His name is Yoru. Yoru is like a cat because Ikuto is very mischievious and sneaky like a cat. He can also character change and character transform with Yoru.
His younger sister is Hoshina Utau. Her real name is Tskuomi Utau. His stepfather is the director of Easter. He signed a contract with Easter which makes him Amu's enemy. He really helps her in the shadows, though.
Ikuto has the Dumpty Key. It is said he stole it from Tadase, though. The Dumpty Key is the key to the Humpty Lock. Once they were about to put the Dumpty Key in the Humpty Lock but Amu chickened out.
Ikuto is very good at playing the violin. He says he only does it because it reminds him of his father but, me and Amu think he actually loves playing it. I am also very good at playing the violin. Not as good as Ikuto, though. Not even close!
