Other Facts - Zetsu is easily distinguished by two large venus fly trap-like extensions enveloping his head. These extensions can envelope the rest of his body as well, giving him a plant-like appearance. When his extensions are open and his head is visible, it is revealed Zetsu has two different colored halves of his body, the right side completely white and the left side black. To go with this, Zetsu seems to have a split personality, Zetsu is also a cannibal. Zetsu's main role within the Akatsuki is to function as a spy, often acting as a hunter-nin for Akatsuki.

Other Facts - Hidan is one of the most foul-mouthed and disrespectful characters in the series and frequently swears and insults both partner and opponents. He rarely uses honourifics when speaking and even then usually as a form of sarcasm. He is the only member of Akatsuki who does not respect their leader Pein and openly challenges him infront of others. When Pein ordered him to retreat from a battle he was enjoying Hidan entertains the idea of using his curse on the leader. The only respect he ever seems to give is too his god, and even then he is quite willing to use his name as an insult. He openly holds his partner Kakuzu in contempt for his habit of blasphamy, love of money, and frequent ridicule of his religion and battle style. Despite this the two work together flawlessly in battle, whenever Hidan is in the mood to share a kill.

Rock Lee ~ marioZX (ロック・リー) - not taken is a supporting character in the Naruto series. He is a member of Team Guy. He is a hard-working person, and is very proficient in taijutsu, though he is unable to perform ninjutsu or genjutsu.
Because he is unable to perform ninjutsu or genjutsu, he trains his body very hard. His dream is to become a great ninja despite his handicap. In the beginning of the series, he was Neji's rival, because he doubted that he would ever amount to much using only taijutsu, which just made him work harder to prove him wrong.
He idolizes his teacher Might Guy, and has picked up many of his traits such as extreme training regimes and goes as far to dress exactly like him, making them look nearly identical. Might Guy has taught Lee many powerful techniques, such as unlocking the first five chakra gates making him many times stronger but also severely strains his body if used too much.
Lee and his teammates, Neji Hyuga and Tenten, have been Genin for one year longer than Naruto and the rest of the Rookie 9.

The First Hokage, founder of Konoha.The First Hokage (火影初代, Shodai Hokage; Literally meaning "First or Founding Fire Shadow") was the founder of Konoha, the older brother of the Second, and the grandfather of Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage of Konoha. His surname is Senju, while his given name is unknown. Together with his brother, the Second Hokage, he trained the future Third Hokage: Sarutobi. The First was famous for his Mokuton (木製解放, Wood Release) jutsu, which allowed him to convert chakra into lifeforce and grow trees with ninjutsu. In conjunction with a special crystal that reacts only to his chakra, he could use this ability to suppress the Tailed beasts chakra. He saw the people of Konoha as a part of his own family, and his legacy takes a firm root in the village.

He was originally the leader of the Senju clan of the Forest. At some point in the First's life he fought Kakuzu but the nature of this fight is unknown at this point. In his early years, he allied with Madara Uchiha, and the two of them founded Konoha. Later on, he came to disagree with Madara over the policies of the village. This conflict resulted in the battle with, and defeat of, Madara Uchiha at the Valley of the End.

Later it was revealed that Orochimaru had implanted the First Hokage's DNA into sixty test subjects in an attempt to gain access to his Mokuton techniques and ability to control bijuu, producing Tenzo (later given the code name Yamato). However, he lost track of the test subjects and didn't realize that one had survived.

He is later revived from the dead by Orochimaru using Impure World Resurrection to fight the Third Hokage during the Destruction of Konoha arc. His soul is eventually sealed into the stomach of the Death God, along with his brother and Orochimaru's arms.



Second Hokage~

The Second Hokage, co-founder of Konoha and a master with water jutsu.The Second Hokage (二代目火影, Nidaime Hokage; Literally meaning "Second Fire Shadow") is the younger brother to the First Hokage and Tsunade's great-uncle. As the brother of the First, the Second Hokage was a member of the Senju Clan of the forest. The First and Second together fostered Konohagakure into a growing village. The Third Hokage's (三代目火影, Sandaime Hokage) surname is Sarutobi. His given name is unknown. His surname, inspired by Sarutobi Sasuke, means "jumping like a monkey", further supported by his Summoning Technique which summons an ape. The First and Second Hokages also called him "Saru," which means "monkey." Masashi Kishimoto originally planned for the Third Hokage to be a dog, but eventually dumped the idea for being "too weird".

Many aspects of his character are borrowed from the Chinese literature classic Journey to the West; the monkey he summons bears a very strong resemblance to Sun Wukong, the protagonist of Journey to the West, and Sarutobi's chosen weapon is identical to Monkey's magical staff.

The Third Hokage was a student of the First Hokage and Second Hokage, where he was teamed with Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane. Later in his life he became the sensei of Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade, who would go on to become known as the "Legendary Three Ninja". The Third was the father of Asuma Sarutobi and the grandfather of Konohamaru. His favorite foods were dried black seaweed and sardines, with his least favorite being pickled vegetables. His favorite phrase was "the ultimate truth". He looked on Orochimaru as something like a son to him, seeing this in his death.

Soon after becoming his master, the Third came to appreciate Orochimaru's natural talent, even going so far as to tell Jiraiya to be more like Orochimaru. He also came to recognize an inner malice and a lust for power within Orochimaru, and tried to steer his student away from these personality traits. After taking the position of Hokage and occupying it for many years, the Third began to look for a successor to the title. While he hoped to be able to give the position to Orochimaru, it became apparent to the Third that Orochimaru was only interested in the role of Hokage as a way to get power. As such, the Third passed on the role of Hokage to one of Jiraiya's former students, Minato Namikaze.

After relinquishing his title, the Third began investigating a number of disappearances within Konoha. Upon reaching the source of the abductions, the Third found Orochimaru to be the one responsible. Learning that Orochimaru had kidnapped so many people so that he could experiment on them in the hopes of gaining immortality, the Third prepared to kill Orochimaru. Although Orochimaru gave him the opportunity, the Third hesitated due to his unwillingness to harm his favorite student, thus allowing Orochimaru to escape. Sometime after Orochimaru had left the village, the Fourth Hokage sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox within Naruto Uzumaki, forcing the Third to reassume the title of Hokage.

Hyuuga Hinita is part of the family branch of the Hyuuga clan, and is the daughter of Hyuuga Hiashi Neji's uncle. She is very shy towards people and has a very low self esteem. She has a huge crush on Naruto in the anime and is pretty much always Secretly encouraging him through his trials when she witnesses him.

Hinita also seems to not really want to be a ninja at all but she goes along and is very obedient to people. She would seem better off doing home type of activities then fighting and in time the show may put her in a more of a 'house? wife position.

neji- thadmcman
neji is considered the strongest and most talented of all genin. He is a member of the Hyuuga Clan and masters Hyuuga Style Taijutsu, the most powerfull Leaf Village TaiJutsu style. Neji is a true genius and he knows it all to well. He is very confident (maybe even to confident) of himself and thinks he knows everything. Neji strongly believes that destiny is something one cannot control: it is given to you at birth and not even hard work can change it. Fully confident of himself, Neji is able to mentally destroy his less confident opponents just by talking to them.

On top of all this Neji really is an incredibly talented ninja. The combination of the Byakugan, Hyuuga Style Taijutsu and the Opening Point Attacks is perfect, and the fact that Neji has already fully mastered those techniques makes him a genius among geniuses

jiraiya- thiefmanypockets
Jiraiya was a student of the Third Hokage and the sensei of the future Fourth Hokage. Jiraiya is also one of the Three Legendary Sannin, together with Tsunade and Orochimaru. He is the "Rock" as the three are heavily based off the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" game, or also known as Janken.
You first see him peeping in the women bathing place to "collect material". Naruto then gave him his nickname "ero-sennin" meaning "perverted hermit". Although he is kinda stupid and funny, he truly is a master ninja. He teaches Naruto to control his 2 chakras and to summon toads. He also tought Naruto the Rasengan.

As such, Jiraiya's fighting techniques are mostly defensive, His "Underworld Swamp" immobilizes a large amount of ninja's in a marsh, and his "Underworld Spines" defend him from any physical attack. He mostly relies on his summoning frogs to aid him, though he rarely summons Gamabunta.

There might be a good reason why he specializes in defensive techniques, and that is because he is a complete and utter pervert, who writes a series of books known as Icha Icha Paradise, a book Kakashi himself adores. As such, he has grown so adept at peeping he is very rarely caught.

tsunade is the third and last part of the three Legendary Leaf Sannins, with Jiraiya and Orochimaru. Tsunade was also the first medical ninja to be put on the field. At a young age, Tsunade had a dramatic death that made her to push for a medical unit to be implemented in the Konoha military; the death of her younger brother Nawaki, the day after she gave him the necklace which belonged to the Second Hokage. After the meeting which she laid out her idea, which was initially rejected, another Jounin pushed his support for the idea. Tsunade and the Jounin named Dan became very close and fell in love. In ways her and Dan were the same, they both had a younger sibling that died in battle by enemy hands. Dan was killed by enemy ninjas. Since then, Tsunade has had a paralyzing fear of blood.

Tsunade is a very powerful ninja, She has great strength and she is a medical specialist. She can heal almost any wound and injury. She even healed Rock Lee's injuries that he got from battling Gaara during the Chuunin Exams. She can also perform a special technique that disrupts the target's Central Nervous System. She used the technique on Yakushi Kabuto, she inserted an electric charge into his nervous system, it reversed the connection of the brains control over the body, if he were to try to move his right arm, his left leg would move, if he was to move his right leg, his left arm would move instead ect. It provides her with an opening to strike them. It is a technique not to be underestimated. In addition she also has an obscene amount of strength, even at a young age, and "one good hit" will kill anyone, as Kabuto puts it. She has such great strength that she can put a huge crater into the ground just by stomping or hitting the ground. As a side note, her summon, Katsuyu, doesn't seem to talk much. She seems to be rather shy.

Ino is a bossy, outspoken girl who has a major crush on Sasuke. Ino was also a big rival to Sakura at one time because both had eyes on Sasuke. Originally though, Ino and Sakura were good friends. As young academy students, Ino was one of the more popular students, and one day, she took Sakura under her wing and introduced her to some of the other students. The two remained friends until they both discovered that they were after the same guy. From that day on, they vowed to be rivals for whoever could win Sasuke over first.

After fighting each other at the Chuunin Exam, both resolved their differences to an extent, yet Ino still remains crazy for Sasuke. Currently she is one-third of the Ino-Shika-Chou team under the leadership of Sarutobi Asuma. Ino is quite outspoken as she's made fun of Chouji's weight and teased Shikamaru for not having a girlfriend. But, underneath the immaturity, Ino has shown herself to be rather compassionate when she's chosen to be.

In battle, Ino mostly relies on basic fundamental ninja techniques, and she is generally at a lower level than most other genins. Her only real technique is the ninjutsu of her clan, the Shintenshin no jutsu. When Ino uses this technique she shoots her mind into the mind of her opponent and takes over their body. She is free to use the body to her liking, but the technique leaves her own body lifeless and vulnerable. Also, Ino runs the risk of missing the technique, which would still leave her body vulnerable for a period of time. Because of this, the Shintenshin no jutsu is often a double-edged sword

garra Born as an experiment from the Hidden Village of Sand, Gaara was combined with the spirit of a demonic sand priest known as Shukaku, not unlike Naruto and the Nine Tails. Gaara grew up without knowing love. For a long time he tought being spoiled equals love, but when he met Rock Lee that opinion changed. Unfortunately, Gaara became unstable around the age of six years. Consequently, his father, Kazakage, ordered numerous assassination attempts upon him, all failing miserably. This betrayal caused Gaara to become hateful and deeply suspicious of everyone, including his siblings, who he regarded as "lumps of meat linked together by hatred and murderous intent."

The tattoo on Gaara's forehead means love, which combined with his name means, "I Love Death". Since he only feels alive when he kills, he believes that killing is his reason for being. The tattoo was put on Gaara's head by Gaara himself after his abilities killed Yashamaru. Yashamaru, being the one that raised Gaara, being the only one that seemed to care for Gaara.

Altough Gaara's father asked Yashamaru to kill Gaara, Yashamaru says he had willingly accepted the mission. Having never truly loved Gaara, hoping that killing him would avenge the death of his sister. Yashamaru eventually detonates himself with explosive tags covering his body, with his last words being "please die". Gaara survived the blast without even being injured, losing the only person he thought cared for him, losing his fate in bonds and love.

When we take a look at Naruto Shippuuden we notice Gaara has undergone some personality changes. His relationship to his siblings has become somewhat normal. He has come to concider Kankuro and Temari as his brother and sister where he used to threaten to kill them if they got in his way. He talks to Kankuro about his problems and dreams.

In a conversation Gaara has with Kankuro Gaara says: "In order to escape a path of loneliness, I have no choice to but to work hard and make my own path. If I do that, then someday... someday I can be like him. That's why as a shinobi of the Sand I'll aim to be the Kazekage. So I can live a life connected to my village. I want to work hard so that other will accept my existence.". It's obivious that Naruto inspired Gaara to question his bonds with other people. Suffering, sadness and joy - He want to be able to share it with another person, he want his existence to be necessary to other people, not as a weapon to be feared but as the Hidden Sand's Kazekage. He eventually follows up his dad as the Fifth Kazekage and really acts as the villager's protector as seen in his fight with Deideira. The villagers also have come to respect Gaara, and the younger females of the village even like Gaara. In the beginning of Shippuuden Gaara fulfills his role as the village's Kazekage, but gets taken by Akatsuki doing so. Gaara apparently dies from having Shukaku getting extracted by Akatsuki.

Obito is one of the late Uchiha ninjas who was on the same team as Kakashi. Obito shares very similar qualities with Naruto and is in a way Naruto to Obito as Sasuke is as to Kakashi.

Obito is a strong hearted ninja of Konoha and has always dreamed of being a great ninja like the rest of his Uchiha clan. Except that he lacks in many skills of a ninja and is looked down upon and made fun of by his team member Kakashi.

Obito shares many similar techniques custom to the Uchiha clan such as Katon and others, he though does have some type of eye problems and is always late to his missions and constantly makes up excuses that are very similar to Kakashi's. Obito is also a ninja who has great heart for his team mates and will die for them and do what ever it takes to help them, to him a team mate who doesn't care about his friends is even worse then trash. A line used frequently also by Kakashi.

Obito sadly meets his end by trying to help his friends and his body is crushed by a earth cave in technique. While he is near death his newly acquired sharingan is given to Kakashi as a gift for being promoted to Jounin level . After this we see nothing more of Obito but Obito plays a very vital role in the life of Kakashi and helps him open his eyes and is the one who forged the Kakashi we know today.

minato-chooxingyu
The Fourth Hokage and also known as Konoha's "Yellow Flash" with his blonde, spikey hair. Yondaime is alluded to be the greatest ninja that Konoha has ever produced. Yondaime was a respected and popular Hokage and is also seen to have a gentle and wise spirit.

Yondaime was mentored by Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin, along with the two teammates who have yet to be named. After becoming a Jounin, Yondaime became sensei for a team consisting of Kakashi, Obito, and Rin. Yondaime is feared by the opposition in battle and, during war time, ninjas are told to "flee on sight" if they're ever misfortunate enough to meet the "Yellow Flash."

Not much else is known about him, other than the fact that he saved Konoha from the Nine-Tails Fox thirteen years ago. In order to do this, Yondaime was forced to sacrifice himself using the Demonic Soul Seal technique, and he then sealed the Kyubi's soul into Naruto. It is not known how Yondaime sealed the Kyubi in Naruto, and it is also unknown how Yondaime and Naruto are connected, whether it be family or otherwise.

Not much has been seen of Yondaime in battle. The one technique that was seen, the Body Flicker Technique, consists of placing a seal or marker onto an opponent. This allows Yondaime to instantaneously move from his spot to behind his opponent, literally in a "flash." Although no one has Yondaime use it, it is also known that it took him three years to develop and perfect the Rasengan. Through the battles that we have seen though, we gather that he is an immensely powerful as he approaches incredible odds and dispatches them to the amazement of his comrades. He strikes fear into his opponents with his speed.

His strength though is matched with his desire for the village and the people in it. When he is tutoring Kakashi's team, he is gentle yet firm with them even when they disobey his orders. He attempts to reconcile differences and make peace within his team so that they will be able to act with unity and not divisiveness. And eventually he does make the ultimate sacrifice with for his village in using the technique that demands his own life. So he like his predecessor sacrifice their life for the protection of the village

tenten- RockLeesLilShadow
TenTen is on the same team as Neji and Lee. She only plays a minor part in the Naruto series. All we really know of her is that she's a young specialist in throwing-weapons. And she works hard to become a really strong ninja like Tsunade, one of the three sannin which she refers to as the legendary female ninja, her idol.

She also seems to have some sort of feelings towards Neji. She admires him, helps him train, and deeply praises his skills.

Rin is a very caring ninja who excels in medical jutsu and is extremely a head of her time. She was on Kakashi's team while they are at war with the stone country. She seems to have a small crush on him and she seems to be the past Sakura.

Rin is also the one who did the transplant of Obito's eye and inserted it in Kakashi, this only shows her skills as a medical nin at such a early age was extremely well. There is little else known about Rin other then she was on Kakashi's team and is one of the fourth's students

anko- _naruto-
Anko was born and raised in Konoha. As an apprentice of Orochimaru, she has learned various jutsu, some of them even forbidden (kinjutsu). When she was a kid she must've been extremely talented, because just like Sasuke, Orochimaru gave her the cursed seal. When Orochimaru betrayed Konoha and fled from the village, Anko was furious because she was used by Orochimaru and then casted off like trash.

When Orochimaru appears back in Konoha, for the first time since he left the village, during the 2nd chuinin exam in the Forest of Death. She feels that it's her job as a former subordinate from Orochimaru to kill him, even at the cost of her own life. Of course, she can't defeat Orochimaru and even regrets coming back alive from the Forest of Death.

She makes her first appearance in the anime as the instructor for the 2nd chuunin exam. She clearly shows some of Naruto's personality, as well as some of Orochimaru's bloodthirst.



haku-
Haku is Zabuza's trainee and most trusted companion. He is an exile from the Hidden Mist Village and he has a very powerful advanced bloodline. Because of the many civil wars in the Hidden Mist Village, the advanced bloodlines are hated. When Haku's father found out that Haku and his mother possessed an advanced bloodline, he tried to kill them. He managed to kill Haku's mother, but Haku survived and killed him instead.

After killing his father, Haku realized that he was unwanted. He didn't have any reason to exist. Haku wandered the streets homeless and alone, but that changed when he met Zabuza. Zabuza was also an outcast of the Hidden Mist Village and he wanted revenge. In Haku he saw a tool with which he could carry out his vengeance.

Haku was extremely happy he had finally found a reason to live. He had finally found someone who loved him for his abilities, instead of hating him because of them. Haku was determined to give his life to Zabuza. He said it himself, "I am Zabuza-san's weapon... please keep me by your side as your tool."

Haku is an expert in acupuncture, and his weapons of choice are senbon. With his advanced bloodline, Haku is able to control water. His most powerful jutsu is the Demonic Ice Mirrors. This makes Haku a very talented and powerful ninja, who even surpasses Zabuza.


kimimaro-not taken
Kimimaro was one of the original sound 5 and appears near the end of their journey to protect Sasuke so he can reach the level 2 cursed seal. Kimimaro is the sole survivor of the Kaguya Clan, the clan who can manipulate their bodies skeleton frame. He is well suited for close combat fighting and distant fighting. Since he can regenerate and make new bones, he has a endless supply of bones he can use against his opponent.

Kimimaro suffers from a illness which was not thoroughly explained through out the manga. Taking a look at the facts from the manga, it could be considered a cancer-like disease since it effects his whole body and makes him sick. While he does suffer from an illness he still is strong enough to hold his own against most of the opponents which approach to fight him. In this case that would be Gaara and Rock Lee.

Kimimaro also knows the 5 special dances which he can use at his own will to kill his opponents. All of these dances can only be used by him and any other kaguya clan members. His attacks all cause a devastating attack and can also be used for defense. He is well taught in the way of the sword and uses his own bones as weapons. He can form his bones into any shape which makes him a fearsome ninja in the series.

Kimimaro could be considered like another Haku. He has a deep gratitude and love for Orochimaru and he is willing to do whatever it takes to help Orochimaru complete his plan of destroying the Hidden Leaf Village. We don't see him in the attack on Konoha because he is very ill at the time but it has been said that if he were in top condition the whole plan would of went as Orochimaru had planned and the village would have been demolished. He is a powerful ninja but his illness is his weakness.
