Oct 30, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 (JP) Promo Videos Released
Some new Japanese promo videos were just released on the Sengoku Musou 3 (Samurai Warriors 3) website. In the first promo video, there is some gameplay of a few characters, a brief display of the new CAW system, and the Murasame Castle mode. The song "Zan" is performed by Gackt Camui. The second video shows multiple cutscenes of different characters like Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Nobunaga Oda, Ishida Mitsunari, and many more. The song "Setsugetsuka" is performed by Gackt Camui as well.

Oct 29, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 Magazine Scans Updated
koeiwarriors.co.uk has uploaded this week's Famitsu scan of Samurai Warriors 3. It features Hanbei and the Oda clan characters. But there's a bigger information in this batch...

he new big revelation in this batch is about the new mode that will be appearing in the game, 村雨城 Murasame Castle Mode. This is based on Nintendo's old NES game called 謎の村雨城 Nazo no Murasamejou, and this mode will even feature the game's protagonist Takamaru as a playable character and the castle bosses as well.

Oct 16, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 New Character: Oichi

For the last few weeks, we have seen snippets of Oichi and finally in this week's Famitsu, お市, Oichi have been officially announced for Samurai Warriors 3! The weapon she uses is a pair of a small rings connected to 2 bigger bladed rings.

oct 16, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Sengoku BASARA 3 New Character: Otani Yoshitsugu

This week's Famitsu finally unveils the long known silhouette of the new character in Sengoku BASARA 3, and this character turns out to be 寥星跋扈　大谷吉継 the Rampant Lone Star, Otani Yoshitsugu. His seiyuu is Fumihiko Tachiki, and those orbs floating behind him are his weapons.

Oct 10, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Sengoku Musou 3 New Release Date: 3 December 2009

KOEI has updated their Sengoku Musou 3 (Samurai Warriors 3) official site to inform that the release date for the game, which has been delayed previously, has been set to 3 December 2009.

Other than this news, they also announced to release another pack of SM3 in Japan, which will be packed with a black Wii console as well as the special SW3 Classic Controller Pro.

Sept 30, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Musou Orochi Z Announced for Windows PC

No surprise here, as this is what KOEI normally does. Musou Orochi Z has been announced to be released on PC in Japan. It isn't sure if there's a language option for this yet. The release date for this game is November 27, 2009. For more information, please check the official site. :)

Sept 29, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 New Character: Takenaka Hanbei

Recently at the Tokyo Game Show, Koei-Tecmo have annouced another new character for Samurai Warriors 3 (Sengoku Musou 3), the Zhuge Liang of the Sengoku Era: 竹中半兵衛 Takenaka Hanbei. His weapon seems to be a sundial with blades sticking out of it.

"Takenaka Shigeharu, who was also known as Hanbei, initially served the Saito clan of Mino province, but later plotted an uprising and took over the Saito castle at Mount Inaba. Toyotomi Hideyoshi was so impressed by this tactic that he invited Shigeharu to join his forces as a strategist. Shigeharu made many contributions to Hideyoshi with his exceptional talent in that field." (Source: wikipedia)

Sept 24, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Sengoku BASARA 3 Goes to West as Sengoku BASARA: Samurai Heroes

Today at the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom has announced that they will bring their PS3-Wii hack'n'slash game Sengoku BASARA 3 for an overseas release. However, instead of renaming it to Devil Kings, this time Capcom has decided to directly translate the game as Sengoku BASARA: Samurai Heroes.

Other than that, the theme song for Sengoku BASARA 3 is also confirmed to be 'Naked Arms' by T.M. Revolution.

KOEI has announced Dynasty Warriors Online (Shin Sangokumusou Online) is coming to PlayStation 3 in 2010 in Japan. There's no confirmation for a overseas release yet however, the online play would be free!

Sept 24, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3(Wii) JP Release Delayed

KOEI has announced the release of Sengoku Musou 3 (Samurai Warriors 3) for the Nintendo Wii will be delayed until December 2009. There's no exact date yet but it's confirmed the game will not be released until December 2009 in Japan.

Sept 15, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 Surrounding Interaction
Well it seems now that you'll be able to interact with more things around you. In this image you can clearly see Hanzo grabbing hold of an eagle and Ieyasu hysterically firing another cannon.

Also since the Kunoichi pic beforehand wasn't in very good quality, enjoy! That seems all for today.

This week's Famitsu reveals yet another new character for Samurai Warriors 3 (Sengoku Musou 3), which is 立花宗茂 Tachibana Muneshige, the husband of Tachibana Ginchiyo. He has a western armor, and his weapon is western sword and shield.

Like Dynasty Warriors 6, Samurai Warriors 3 will have it's own chibi figurines! The first batch will contain 11 characters. Also with this set of chibis is a yet to be announced redesign of Oichi along with a new weapon, a bladed ring.

Sept 06, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Nobunaga no Yabou: Tendou Trial Version (JP) Released

KOEI has released the trial version of Nobunaga no Yabou: Tendou, the latest sequel in the Nobunaga's Ambition series. It features a scenario that is exclusive to the trial version. The installer is 213MB big, and it is available to download at the Gamecity site.
