The last playable character in Samurai Warriors 3 (Sengoku Musou 3) for the Wii has been leaked before it's officially announced. It's Mouri Motonari, the one at the top left.

KOEI has updated the list with more characters with no Musou or Story Mode in the game. Those 7 characters are Imagawa Yoshimoto, Fuuma Kotaro, Maeda Toshiie, Nouhime, Mori Ranmaru, Okuni and Shibata Katsuie.

Nov 29, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: New Samurai Warriors 3 Scans

They are Motochika Chosokabe, Katsuie Shibata, Okuni, as well as new member to the series, Masanori Fukushima.

Also, apparently there's a Sengoku History mode where you play as clans such as the Imagawa, Takeda, Hojo, and for your CAW. And there's downloadable content for the game as well.

An image of a silhouette character imposing a similar style of what's said to be Jiang Wei has been revealed. This person's attire, weapon, and stance brings good belief that it could be the second returning character who was deleted from Dynasty Warriors 6.

Nov 19, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: SSM Multi Raid 2 (aka. DW Strikeforce 2) Revealed
And for the main news, this week's Famitsu reveals that KOEI is working on Shin Sangoku Musou MULTI RAID 2 aka. Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce 2 for the PlayStation Portable. A direct sequel of SF, the game will have new features such as Infrastructure mode support and Weapon overdrive system.

New characters are also announced, the first of which is the finally returning Da Qiao. It is also hinted that the rest of ousted characters in DW6 might return too. Furthermore, there will be also new enemy NPCs coming from Chinese legends. One of them is Shi Huangdi, who will be the final boss of the game.

Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid (DWSF2) will be released on Spring 2010 in Japan.


Nov 19, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 Unique NPC: Aya Gozen

This week's Famitsu has an information on Samurai Warriors 3 to introduce a new NPC other than the currently known Fukushima Masanori. She is 綾御前 Aya Gozen, the elder sister of Uesugi Kenshin and birth mother of Uesugi Kagekatsu. She wields a naginata.

Remember, she is an NPC, so she is not playable, unfortunately.

Nov 13, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: No Musou Mode for Yoshimoto, Kotaro, Toshiie, Nouhime and Ranmaru

KOEI has officially announced Yoshimoto, Kotaro, Toshiie, Nouhime and Ranmaru do not have storylines in Musou (Story) Mode in Samurai Warriors 3.
There are 37 characters in total and the cut characters are Gracia, Musashi and Kojiro.

A new character (not Masanori) is spotted to the right of Hanbei in character unlocking screen. Speculations are suggesting that this might be 毛利元就 Mouri Motonari, Daimyo of Aki province in Chugoku region.
阿国 Okuni (known because of cosplay at presscon), 柴田勝家 Shibata Katsuie (Seen at a screenshot) and 長宗我部元親 Chosokabe Motochika (Confirmed now that there's a screen confirming 37 characters) will return, but it isn't known if they will have a story mode or not.

Other news:
-A speculation says that there may be 5 NPCs in the game, bringing total number of unique characters to 42. The first one is 福島正則 Fukushima Masanori, a Toyotomi retainer. Together with Kiyomasa, he joined the Eastern army during.
-Characters are now unlocked by purchasing with koku earned from battles.
-Edit General Mode (aka. CAW) will be included
-There is a special story for your created character, 戦国史 Sengoku History mode, which will span from the beginning to the end of Sengoku era.
-There will be network utilization such as online play and priced DLCs

Nov 11, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 Magazine Scans Updated
Koeiwarriors.co.uk uploaded this week's Famitsu scan of Samurai Warriors 3. It features Nagamasa Azai, Oichi, Nene, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, the Voice cast, different mission modes, stages, and gameplay. Okuni is also shown in the voice cast roster and Shibata Katsuie is shown in an in-game screenshot.

Nov 11, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires to be Released on PSP too

KOEI has recently announced that Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires will be released on the PlayStation Portable on 23 December 2009. This marks the first time an Empires game is ported to the PSP.

The PSP version will be also getting the DLCs that are also available in the PS3 and 360 versions. However, an extra feature in this new version is the addition of ad-hoc multiplayer versus mode.

Oct 30, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Samurai Warriors 3 (JP) Promo Videos Released
Some new Japanese promo videos were just released on the Sengoku Musou 3 (Samurai Warriors 3) website. In the first promo video, there is some gameplay of a few characters, a brief display of the new CAW system, and the Murasame Castle mode. The song "Zan" is performed by Gackt Camui. The second video shows multiple cutscenes of different characters like Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Nobunaga Oda, Ishida Mitsunari, and many more. The song "Setsugetsuka" is performed by Gackt Camui as well.

koeiwarriors.co.uk has uploaded this week's Famitsu scan of Samurai Warriors 3. It features Hanbei and the Oda clan characters. But there's a bigger information in this batch...

he new big revelation in this batch is about the new mode that will be appearing in the game, 村雨城 Murasame Castle Mode. This is based on Nintendo's old NES game called 謎の村雨城 Nazo no Murasamejou, and this mode will even feature the game's protagonist Takamaru as a playable character and the castle bosses as well.

For the last few weeks, we have seen snippets of Oichi and finally in this week's Famitsu, お市, Oichi have been officially announced for Samurai Warriors 3! The weapon she uses is a pair of a small rings connected to 2 bigger bladed rings.

oct 16, 09 ANNOUNCEMENT: Sengoku BASARA 3 New Character: Otani Yoshitsugu

This week's Famitsu finally unveils the long known silhouette of the new character in Sengoku BASARA 3, and this character turns out to be 寥星跋扈　大谷吉継 the Rampant Lone Star, Otani Yoshitsugu. His seiyuu is Fumihiko Tachiki, and those orbs floating behind him are his weapons.
