Hey! Welcome to the Kamichama Karin Fan Group!!!

Kamichama Karin is about a 7th grader named Karin Hanazono. Her parents and beloved cat, Shi-chan recently died, she`s getting horrible grades and is forced to live with her aunt. One day, Karin meets a young, orphaned, 7th grade boy named Kazune Kujyou, and discovers that her mother`s ring has the power to transform her into a goddess. She soon moves in with Kazune and his cousin Himeka. She and Kazune, who has godlike powers of his own, have to fight to protect Karin`s ring and Himeka from the evil intentions of Kirio Karasuma (whom Karin calls Mr. Glasses Man), who is also divine. The trio embark on crazy adventures and go on trips along the way. They also meet new friends and people, such as Micchi, who may know a lot of information not only about the divine transformation of the gods and goddesses, but also about Kazune-kun`s long lost father...

Karin

Karin is the protagonist of the series. Her parents passed away when she was still young and she was brought up by her aunt. Having no talent in studies and sports she is always scolded by her aunt. During those times her cat Shi-chan was a pillar of support but a few months prior to the beginning of the story, Shi-chan had died. Karin moved in with Kazune and Himeka after they found out about her goddess powers. She is an outgoing person, and sticks up for her friends. Her mother's ring allows her to borrow godly power. Her ring is pink and has the power of the goddess Athena. Later on, she realizes she has a crush on Kazune, but she knows Himeka loves him and is convinced that her feelings are only one sided. Near the end of the series, she realizes that she is in love with Kazune. She sees a picture Himeka and Kazune each have of their parents, which are the same. Karin happens to have one exactly like them of her parents. She is actually Suzuka Kujyou, Professor Kujyou's wife and his test subject.Her name literally means "The Flower Bell of the Flower Garden," with the "Flower Garden" as her family name and "Flower Bell" as her first name. She has a fondness for eel bread and eels.

Kazune Kujyo

Kazune is the main male protagonist. His ring has the power of Apollo. While he acts cool during much of the story, Himeka states that in the past, he was weak and cried frequently, only becoming his present self when he turned ten years old. While Himeka loves bugs, Kazune hates them, in Kamichama Karin, Himeka reveals that Kazune's fear of bugs developed when he had tried to save Himeka from some bugs when they were little, but instead, fell into a ditch where the bugs started to attack him until he passed out. Even though he is a clone of professor Kazuto Kujyou, he is incomplete and passes out after transforming in god form. He often speaks Karin that she deems sexist, talking about things like the inherent stupidity or weakness of girls. Kazune is in love with Karin (and tells Michiru such), and has known since the age of ten that Karin is the clone of his wife Suzuka.

Michiru Nishikiori

Michiru, also known as Micchi, is an exchange student from England. Being very amorous, he often makes romantic advances at Karin as well as Kazune. Micchi is also an orphan; his parents were killed in a car accident. That's how he met Kazune's father who saved him and gave him the ring. He is in the same grade as Karin but is older than his other classmates because he spent a year in the hospital. He seems to have information given to him by Kazune's father about the rings, the divine power and the family relationship between Karin and Kazune.

Suzune

Came from the future. The son of Kazune and Karin and also some what "brother" of Himeka, He has Kazune's looks and Karin's eyes and is a cute little boy. He calls Karin "mama" and Kazune "papa".He can transform into cupid/ Suzune's name is written with the second kanji in Karin and Kazune's first names. His name literally means "bell sound".

Kazusa

Kazune's 'sister'. Assumes the form of a bird using the power of goddess transformation, and she wears the traditional Japanese costume when she is in her human form. She has the power of the goddess Artemis, who is Apollo´s sister, and helps Karin in place of Kazune. Kazune created her like Professor Kujyou did to Kazune.

Himeka Kujyou

Himeka is Karin's friend and Kazune's "cousin". She is very important, and she is one half of a goddess, of which the other half is Kirio's younger sister, who also named Himeka. When one Himeka becomes stronger, the other becomes weaker. Since she was a young girl, she has always defended Kazune, who had been a bit of a crybaby. She is a very nice girl, loves bugs and is a good cook. It is later revealed that she is Kazuto and Suzuka's daughter.

Himeka Karasuma

The other half of Himeka Kujyou. In the beginning of the series, she is unhealthy, and spends most of her time in bed asleep. She is portrayed as evil for splitting some of her life with the other Himeka, but she is only a container for Kirihiko Karasuma's research and therefore highly protected by the Karasumas'. In the anime, Himeka is shown frequently in the house.

Kirio Karasuma

The main antagonist. He is the student body president of Sakurakaoka Academy, where Karin, Himeka, and Kazune happen to attend. While still a student, he tests them and fights them off of the campus. Karin refers to him as "Mr. Glasses Man." And he refers Karin as "Amateur Goddess".In the anime, he is made into the running gag who tries to attack Karin and the gang every chance he gets. His only true relative is his twin Kirika, and with his ring, he transforms into the God, Ares.

Kirika Karasuma

Kirika is Karin's prince charming at the beginning of the series but later is found out to be a girl. In fact, she is Kirio's twin sister. Kirika is unwillingly forced to fight Karin because of the other Himeka and her brother Kirio. She gives help to Karin and Kazune when her father revives through her brother. In goddess form, she is Nyx.

Nike

Nike is Karin's cat, also known as Shi-chan, that died and then was resurrected by the goddess who lived inside her. She helps Karin by giving advice and by turning into a shield.
