Kangin

Kangin is a member of the Korean boy-band Super Junior. He is the 5th oldest member and very talkative and witty.

Kangin was a trainee for SM Entertainment in 2002, after winning 1st place on the 4th SM Youth Best Selection Best Outward Appearance. His intention was to audition as an actor, but was placed to be in a boy-band project (not SuJu) which included Heechul of SuJu, Hero and Yunho of DBSK. That project ended when DBSK made their debut.

Kangin decided to use his stage name Kangin which loosely translates to "strong but kind person."

In early 2007 he was placed in Super Junior Trot, which has an unusual urban style music, with five other Super Junior members: Leeteuk, Sungmin, Heechul, Shindong and Eunhyuk.

In mid-2008 he joined Super Junior Happy, which consists of Yesung, Leetuk, Sungmin, Shindong and Eunhyuk. Their music style is upbeat and happy.
