Koyama Keiichiro is the oldest member of NewS and is often seen as the mother figure of the group. Before joining NewS, he was a part of BAD and J-Support as well as the group K.K. Kity along with Shigeaki Kato(member of NewS) and Hironori Kusano(ex member of NewS).
As a member of K.K. Kity he was often an announcer and this has carried trough to NewS. Despite this, he only joined Johnny Entertainment at the beginning of 2001, when he was 17 years old.

Keii-chan has taken the role as the older brother in NewS and makes sure everyone is healthy. He isn't just the responsible big brother to his band mates but is also a respected Senpai for the Juniors. They usually have him go ahead at the catering table to get food.

- His home is a Ramen Shop that he runs with his mom on his of days
- Graduated from Meiji Univeristy Majoring in Japanese literature and received honors as one of Japan's Model Youth. He even had posters and flyer's around in school with it
- He has a cute nephew named Haruto that he spoils a lot. He buys him toys and clothes all the time(the reason to why he is called "Baka Uncle")



- He does his own laundry and at one point, he mixed a red shirt with white clothes and regrettably blogged about it
