About Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu
Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu or simply known as Kim Chiu, (born April 19, 1990) is a Chinese Filipino actress, singer and model. She was born in Xiamen, Fujian Province, People's Republic of China, but immigrated together with her family in Cebu City, Philippines at the age of 3.
Kim was the first Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, beating 14 other teenage housemates.
Kim Chiu started her career off with winning Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition being an early favorite. She sang a Chinese song called Peng You by Emil Chau in Big Brother's house which means friend. Her popularity with viewers and an interest in show business led to acting assignments with fellow Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition housemate Gerald Anderson.
In the six months since the end of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, Kim and Gerald have appeared together in several shows on the ABS-CBN network, bagged several commercial endorsements, and appeared in their first movie, First Day High. They also appeared in Love Spell and Aalog-Alog. Their love team was named "Kimerald" by the fans, which is a portmanteau of their names. They marked their first anniversary in show business by their first starring movie I've Fallen For You which premiered September 26, 2007 under Star Cinema.
Kim starred on her first primetime TV series entitled Sana Maulit Muli, where she is once again partnered with Anderson. The series started airing in the Philippines on ABS-CBN in 2007. Chiu is a member of ABS-CBN's circle of homegrown talents named Star Magic.
Kim Chiu is currently a regular performer on ASAP '09. She is the leading lady in the prime time show My Girl, the Filipino remake of the Korean series with the same title.
On January 2009 Kim starred in the TV series entitled Tayong Dalawa. This is Kim's third appearance on a primetime TV series. Kim is said to star in a movie along with loveteam partner and rumoured boyfriend, Gerald Anderson which said to show in July 2009.

Gerald Randolph Opsima Anderson, Jr. (born March 7, 1989 in Subic Bay, Zambales, Philippines) is a Filipino - American actor who was then a former housemate on the reality television first season of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, and rose to fame through the Filipino teleserye Sana Maulit Muli, My Girl and Tayong Dalawa.
Gerald Jr. was born to Gerald Randy Anderson, Sr. an American instructor in the Philippine Navy who travels back and forth to U.S. and Zambales, and Evangeline Opsima, a Filipina from General Santos City. Gerald also has a younger brother, Kenneth, and two older sisters from his mother's first marriage, Jen and Darlin. When he was three years old, he and his family moved to San Antonio, Texas . Finally, at 14 years of age, his family moved back to General Santos.
Gerald was discovered by Joross Gamboa while the latter was performing in his hometown. Joross introduced him to his manager, Jhun Reyes, who then brought him to ABS-CBN to join PBB Teen Edition.
He rose to fame when he placed third overall in the first Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition. He was billed as the Amboy Hottie from General Santos City. Since the end of the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, Anderson along with his love team partner have appeared together in several shows on the ABS-CBN Network and have been tapped to do several TV ads and product endorsements. Gerald also has worked on a primetime television series entitled Sana Maulit Muli.
In 2008 Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu launched their second teleserye in ABS-CBN entitled My Girl and My Only Hope. Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson also have a new Primtime Bida for 2009 with Jake Cuenca titled Tayong Dalawa.
Gerald became the 20th millionaire on "Deal or No Deal" in the Philippines, which aired February 2, 2009, winning 2 million pesos with his costar, Jake Cuenca.
Gerald is currently starring in another teleseye in ABS-CBN entitled Tayong Dalawa, with his co-stars, Jake Cuenca, Kim Chiu and many others.
