This is a magnificent anime. Its about Kosuke Kindaichi, one of the most famous detectives in Japan's detective stories, has a grandson by the name of Hajime.


In real life, he is just an ordinary high school student but, when a crime takes place, he uses his inherited talents to solve each case brilliantly.


Also known as The Kindaichi Case Files, this series of manga adventures are defined immediately by the quick mental capabilities of Hajime Kindaichi, grandson to the famous detective Kousuke Kindaichi. However, Hajime is his own person and has to build up his personal reputation of greatness from scratch - he is considered a drop out and loser by his 11th grade peers.


Sure, his laziness gets him a clumsy image, yet behind the exterior lies a brilliant mind, perfectly suited to problem-solving.


So it comes as no surprise when he demonstrates these abilities when a series of murders occur. His detective work and deductive powers are of the highest standard, above police detectives as he outsmarts the killer and closes the case.
