Kiva Masquerade Club is a fan club dedicated to honor Masked Rider Kiva. We also welcome sharing of resources related to Masked Rider Kiva.



Everyone who honours Masked Rider Kiva are welcome to join in the group. So "Wake up!"



Although this group is dedicated to Masked Rider Kiva, we also fancy other Kamen Riders like Kamen Rider Kabuto, Den-O, and so on. We even put some extra pictures of other Kamen Riders in the photo section in purpose of appreciating the senior Kamen Riders.

Kamen Rider Kiva


This is Kurenai Wataru, the main and protagonist character in the story. He is a kind and honest man yet many said he is naive but thats what the drama producer wants right? The character is starred by Koji Seto.

This is Kurenai Otoya, Wataru's father. He is also a protagonist character within the time setting of year 1986. His characteristics is sometimes attractive but a kind of well...a "girl seeker". Thats what some people think. However, like Wataru said, Otoya is a pure man who hates evil. The character was played by Kouhei Takeda.

This is Aso Megumi. She is a Fangire Hunter just like her mother 22 years ago. She is very brave to fight Fangire alone without any special power. However, she often got into trouble by this. Then thats the time Kiva came to save her. Starred by cute Nana Yanagisawa who also starred in Sailormoon Live Action.

This is Aso Yuri. She is Megumi's mother who had fought Fangires since 22 years ago. A brave woman like Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, she was very determined and strict. The character is played by Yu Takahashi.

This is Shizuka, a cute high school girl who had always back up and supported Wataru. She was very kind and understanding. She was the one who often helps and guides Wataru to adapt himself to the "outside world"(world outside Wataru's house).

Now this person is a macho, handsome looking guy but arrogant. He is Nago Keisuke, a bounty hunter who really wanted to defeat Kiva although the reason is unknown. He is the second Rider in this story, Kamen Rider IXA. Keisuke Kato played this role.

About Riders in Kamen Rider Kiva

Kiva’s Transformation
Kurenai Wataru transforms into Kamen Rider Kiva by use of his companion, Kivat Battosansei. Kivat the bat installs Wataru with his henshin belt after biting him. We observed that Kiva’s first ever shown power is a type of “flying kick” called “Darkness Moon Break”. The unique thing was when Kiva unleashes his power such as his Rider Kick, the day would turn dark along with appearance of clear moon. Kivat the bat used a “key” in form of "Fessel"(whistle) from Kiva’s belt "Feslot". When Kivat play the sound, the “seal” on Kiva’s right leg will be opened. The other "whistle" is played to summon other powers like Garuru Sabre.

Kivat Battosansei
He is the third generation of a family of monster bats that have existed for at least 100 years. If the skin of an eligible person is bitten by him, they can attach him to the Kivat Belt, which allows for them to use the armor of Kiva. Kivat likes beautiful women, is very smart and proud, and can sometimes be both playful and respectful.

In addition, Kiva is aided by three other Supportive Monsters who have been imprisoned inside of Castle Dran. They were a werewolf, a gillman and a frankenstein’s monster. Each monster appointed to different forms according to situational needs, allows Kiva to adjust his abilities to specific situations. Further more, Castle Dran itself was a “dragon-like” monster that feeds on the “soul” of Fangires that was beaten by Kiva.


Garuru Form (Werewolf)







Jiro is from the werewolf clan. In his true form, he is Garuru, the blue werewolf. He can transform into a sword called “Garuru Sabre”. This sword is handled by using Kiva’s left arm. Kiva transforms into Garuru form when he obtain the sword. Garuru Form is fast, good with weaponry, and increases Kiva’s shrewdness and cunning in battle. The werewolf however, is a violent and hot-blooded character, often acting on impulses before thinking them through. He is voiced by Kenji Matsuda, who previously played “Kamen Rider Zanki” in “Kamen Rider Hibiki”. He is awesome!


Basher Form (Gillman)







In humanly appearance, this character is named Ramon. Basher, a gillman, transforms into the “Basher Magnum”, a gun, which is handled by using Kiva’s right arm. Kiva transforms into Basher form when he obtain the gun. The form and weapon is suited for long-distance attack and appointed for aim and precision. This form enables Kiva to determine an enemy’s weak points from far away, and then capitalize on them. The character is voiced by 13 year old Ogoe Yuuki, who guest starred in episodes 5 and 6 of Den-O.


Dogga Form (Frankenstein’s Monster)





Dogga, a Frankenstein’s Monster, transforms into the “Dogga Hammer”, a gauntlet. Kiva transforms into Dogga form when he obtains this gauntlet. The form, focusing on unbelievable strength, has a finisher which is virtually unbeatable. The character of the monster was voiced by Japanese Sportsman No.1’s, Eiji Takigawa. Wow! Professional appearance.


Kamen Rider IXA



IXA is the second Rider in Kamen Rider Kiva. “IXA” stands for “Intercept X Attacker“.
His Rider System has two modes. Its default mode is Save Mode transforms into Burst Mode where the faceplate that covers IXA’s eyes in Save Mode open up. The motive or concept of his appearance is “Bounty Hunter”. This is observable when we look at his mask in which the faceplate took the shape of a “cross” in his Save Mode. The “cross-like” shape is a symbol of his identity as a bounty hunter.
