Description

Here in this group you can learn everything around drawing and painting. Either it is traditionally or digitally! Every month we have new suggestions for ya, new tutorials and events!!Our quote is LEARN TO DRAW AND BE A PRO also ALL CAN DRAW. One thing you have to note is that we are not pros but what we know we try to share it with you!

PHOTO REFERENCE
☆Using a photo as a concept is not cheating. The choice of elements is really important. Choose the right pictures, the right references to improve the quality of your work and inspire you! Each time you find an interesting picture save it to your library.
LOOK AND LEARN
☆Observation is very important to improve your skills. Watch how the light reacts around you, and check how painters have managed to reproduce the complexity of nature. You will learn more from classical painters than from 3D stuff.
KEEP COPIES
☆When working in digital media, always make sure you keep copies of your work, especially on each major step you go through. It is highly possible that each page will be reworked more than once! By saving copies (sometimes ten per image!) you give yourself the safety necessary when you need to do major fixes.
KEEP IT FRESH
☆To keep a fresh perspective on your image remember to flip it horizontally once in the while. It has something to do with the brain hemispheres perceiving things differently, but all you need to know is that it works! Also, if you can't figure out an element of your picture, just leave it for a while and move on to the next element. Let your brain change its pattern of things for a while -it'll help you to solve your design problems.

LOCK LAYER: [/]
☆Use / to lock the layer you're on and draw only within the color surface you've already set.
SELECT CANVAS: Ctrl/Alt+A
☆This is great for copying whole layers and pasting them into their exact position on a different layer or canvas.
ZOOM: Ctrl/Alt [+]&[-]
☆It's useful if you constantly zoom in and out to see the details and the whole picture.
FIT IN WINDOW: Ctrl/Atl+0
☆This fits your page in your window -useful for seeing a whole image without having to continually zoom in and out.
MERGE VISIBLE LAYERS: Shift+Ctrl+E
☆To merge visible layers in Photoshop hold down Shift+Ctrl+E.
HIDE ALL WINDOWS: Press Tab
☆This hides all the windows, so you can view the image without any clutter.
LAST FILTER: Ctrl/Alt+F
☆Activates the last filter you used. Useful if you're flatting a bunch of pages in a row.
