5cm per second is a masterpiece. It really spoke to my heart and I can't wait to see Shinkai's future works. He's definitely another Miyazaki to me.

makoto shinkai is a genius.. a real genius. he understood that time can be a distance too, I mean like Einstein did, when he discovered the theory of relativeness. if Einstein had watched Hoshi no koe I am sure he would have cried
