There is a band of three Japanese guys named Choro Club that play background music for anime such as ARIA and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.

Tsukkomi - a form of two man comedy act that involves a Boke character and a Tsukkomi (the straight man) character.
Boke would often use a stupid character, a character with no common sense, or a character that can alter the supernatural(Suzumiya Haruhi).
A Tsukkomi character Is often the person who slaps reality into the Boke character's face. Sometimes with an attack, a smart remark, or just by simply yelling..
(Tsukkomi is popular and is known to have originated in Osaka)

Almost all forms of anime comedy use Tsukkomi in it. With the exception of "One Man Comedies," and "Visual Humor"
