SuG's New single



PROFILE
SuG is an oshare-kei band signed to Indie PSC, a division of the popular visual-kei label, PS Company. Though they’ve only been around for little over a year, SuG already has a fairly large fanbase. 2007 was an extremely productive year for the band: they have released two singles as well as a mini-album and were also included in the J-Rock Invasion concert held at Cologne, Germany in December.

BIOGRAPHY
SuG was formed in October 2006 by Takeru (vocals), masato (guitar), yuji (guitar), who had all been members of TRAVEL, and Shouta (bass, ex-AmeriA). In November, MITSURU (known as Aoshi while with Retina) joined as the drummer.

The band began activities at the start of 2007, but in February, Shouta left the band and was replaced by current bassist Chiyu (ex-Nana). Shortly after, SuG began to make themselves known in earnest. Their first release on a CD was a song on the compilation album CANNONBALL vol. 3.

After holding lives for the rest of spring and early summer, the band signed to the indies division of PS Company, one of the most well known and respected visual-kei labels, and in August came out with a maxi-single, Scheat. This was followed in September by their second single, Alterna.. Both singles were widely promoted and featured interesting music videos; as a result, SuG’s popularity skyrocketed.

To end 2007, SuG released a mini-album called I SCREAM PARTY and made their overseas debut at Cologne, Germany on December 29th for the J-Rock Invasion concert. With so much success already at hand, it will be an exciting wait to see what 2008 has in store for SuG and their fans!
