Nicholas Teo (張棟樑; born 29th November 1981), also known as Nicholas Zhang, is a Malaysian singer signed under Play Music. Before he came back to Malaysia, he was studying in Taiwan and won the Best Singer in the whole Taiwan for Universities competition. Someone came to find him and asked him to sign under their company as a back-up singer (backing vocalist, to harmonise with the lead vocalist), Nicholas ignored. He came back to Malaysia without finishing his studies and joined a singing competition,'2002 Astro Talent Quest', he won (1st place) with the song 黃昏(Huanghun) by Zhou Chuan Xiong. Then he started his career in Taiwan. Nicholas received the 2006 Hito Newcomer Award in Taiwan.
He also played "He Qun" in the taiwanese drama "Smiling Pasta" (微笑 Pasta).
