so what's Anime??
The term anime is an abbreviation of the English word animation originating in Japan. To sum it up Anime is the most common word used by fans to refer to Japanese Animation. It's traditionally hand drawn using multiple still images in rapid succession to produce the animated visual effect. However with improvements in computer technology the efficiency of the whole production process has increased. Also the subject of anime represents most major genres of fiction, and is available in motion-picture media such as television broadcast, DVD and VHS distribution, as well as full length motion pictures.


Is Anime the same as cartoon? Technically yes, however for anime fans, anime is not cartoon. People usually think that anime is the animated version of japanese comic (manga). While in most cases this is true, however, not all anime is based on manga. For example, some anime are based on video games like Sakura Taisen and Tales of Eternia.

Fuyu no Sonata (Winter Sonata)

The anime is an adaptation of the popular 2002 Korean live action romantic drama Winter Sonata (Gyeoul Yeonga). Original actors Bae Yong Jun and Choi Ji Woo will reprise their roles from the live action drama in the anime adaptation, so it does look like the series will air on Japanese television with Korean dialogue and Japanese subtitles.

One Piece: Strong World

The movie seems to focus on Nami, who looks to have gotten herself into a situation and possibly forced to leave the Straw Hats once again to join the enemy. In this case, a figure named Kinjishi who, judging by the room the Straw Hats busted into, may be some sort of organization leader. The movie also seem to deal with a "Crystal" ship log.
As the movie is still in development, it possible these facts could change before its released.
