He stays silent as he moves across and to a desk in the back corner. He didn't want to be seen or noticed entirely. He was slightly shy, though with his background, who wouldn't be? He sits down slowly and takes out a small leaf, rubbing it in his fingertips. It was one he'd had for years now. He had it coated in a gloss that kept it the same for as long as it could be taken care of. He smiled lightly. I hope things... are different here...

Offline	Posted 2/2/13 Reply Quote Jurou follows quickly behind him into the classroom and sits down at one of the desks in the front of the room like the good noodle he is. He pulls his hair back into a ponytail to keep it out of his face, and then closes his hands together, attention towards the front of the class. He stares somewhat awkwardly at the teacher even though class hasn't started yet, mostly because he doesn't know anyone, but also because he's trying to show that he's ready to learn.

He had the urge to go sit next to him but at the same time he was too scared to even speak. He didn't know if he was ready to try. Slowly, he forced himself up and over to a seat next to Jurou. He swallows a thickness in his throat and looks at him sheepishly. Quietly, he managed small words. "H-hello..... I'm... Jacob." He pushed for a smile but couldn't manage it. His fear of denial was more than enough to keep his cold, awkward stare at play.

He pauses for a moment, looking him up and down. He seemed decent enough. He wasn't a stuck up High Breed, but more importantly he wasn't any sort of demon or angel. Not to mention he wasn't too bad on the eyes, either. "Hello, Jacob. Nice to meet you. My name is Jurou." He extends a hand to shake.

He finally managed a smile, the warmest possible. He felt so relieved to know this boy wasn't as harsh as others he's met in his life. He shakes the hand gently before returning his hands to his lap. "I'm guessing.. that you are new here as well?" He looked into Jurou's eyes. He wondered to himself what things this one had been through.

Did you figure out what house you're being placed in yet? I hope we end up being housemates. Everyone else here is nuts... But you seem pretty normal." He gives Jacob a slight smile to show that he's friendly. "Where are you from?"

"I haven't talked to anyone yet besides you, but i wouldn't mind that." His ears lay back and he tilts his head a little. "I do not recall entirely where I am from. I was kept inside most of my life with only a small greenery to play in. My parents were too busy with my brother but... that.. ended up in us moving here. I am in hopes of staying here too."

"I hope you stay here, too. You seem sane enough." He turns back towards the front of the class, paying attention to the lessons that were starting just now. He turns in the assignments he had previously finished ahead of time.

He does his assignment slower but eventually he gets it complete. He stands and hands in the paper before returning back to his seat. He takes his leaf and rubs it, looking down at it quietly. If only the past could change...

He unintentionally makes a look of grimace which only sticks once he sees Kahl follow in from behind her. He glances at Jacob, only to see what reaction he makes, before turning back to the front of the room towards the teacher who is obviously scolding them for being late on the first day.

(I guess I'll just be a random teacher since no one else will??? He's just an NPC I guess... He isn't really relevant to the story at all.) The teacher then gets back to the lesson. Something about combat using your tarot, and how important it is only to use it when necessary and not for personal gain, etc.
