W H O is R Y O? ::Nishikido Ryo commonly known as Ryo-chan (born on the 3rd of November, 1984 in Amagasaki city in hyogo prefecture) is a Japanese idol and a performing artist (singer-songwriter, actor and a model) under the Japanese talent agency, Johnny & Associates.
Ryo-chan auditioned for his agency and passed on the 6th of September, 1997 and is currently a member in two popular male idol groups; news and kanjani8, both groups officially debuted on 2004. He began his acting career in 1998 drama "Binbo Doshin Goyocho", He won "the best newcomer" award for his role in NHK's family drama "Teruteru Kazuko", And in 2006 ryo-chan held his first solo live "Ryo Nishikido Live" from January 5th to 9th in Yokohama arena and Osaka-jo hall. Until now ryo-chan had been playing supporting roles in some dramas such as, 1 Liter of Tears, Attention Please, Last Friends, Ryusei no Kizuna and Orthros no Inu. Thus he has been awarded as "the best supporting actor" for his roles in his last 3 dramas.

S O M E - T R A V I A S ::[♥] Commonly known as Ryo-chan because of his short stature in his younger years.
[♥] He can play 3 instruments: The Guitar, Piano, and Harmonica.
[♥] likes to read a lot of books. Mostly Non-fiction. He loves the Da Vinci code. he likes to read about various subjects.
[♥] Doesn't like talkative girls.
[♥] He is basically a righty, but he got fractures on his right arm so he uses his left hand a lot. (he cant bend his right hand well)
[♥] His favorite foods include cold boiled rice, chinese noodles, miso soup, wakame noodles, garlic rice, pickled gingers and anything with mayonnaise.
[♥] He hates sayaendou (green peas), all fish (except sea bream and boiled globe fish), casserole, warm vegetables, sweet things (especially ocean candy) gratin, and Chocolate.
[♥] Ryo can cook well. His specialty is making yakiniku, spaghetti with meatballs and cakes. ryo can bake well!
[♥] He auditioned for Johnny's Entertainment on September 6,1997.
[♥] He plays the role of an intimidating boy with his speech and he's the cool guy of NEWS but he is really an extremely shy person.
[♥] His first love was in kindergarten.
[♥] Hates to be alone, especialy when eating, he's uncomfortable with that.
[♥] Calls his mother "Kaachan".
[♥] Learned how to ride a bike when he was 4.
[♥] His family's dog "Chibi" that they've been keeping since ryo-chan was in elementary school has passed away on January 8, 2008.
