Lana Isavia (ラーナ・イザビア Rāna Izabia?) [Nova Satori] (Mika Doi): The third central female of the Southern Cross. At 19, Lana is the youngest military police officer on Glorie, and one of the highest ranking. Like Mary, she is the polar opposite of Jeanne, taking her duties very seriously and allowing for no compromises regarding protocol and regulations. Her rivalry with Jeanne can be viewed as a subtle game of "cat and mouse". In the beginning of the series, Lana appears to be colder and less personable than Marie. But as the story progresses, she is revealed to be even more of a romantic than Jeanne. Her military training eventually conflicts with her passionate emotions, and she is forced to choose between her duty to the Southern Cross, and her friendship with the 15th Squad. She slowly develops feelings for TASC pilot R. Brown, and they later become romantically involved.

T-elos
Japanese Voice Actor: Mariko Suzuki
English Voice Actor: Bridget Hoffman
T-elos is a mysterious battle android similar to KOS-MOS, but unknown to most of Vector Industries. Its designs were featured in a U-TIC ship in Episode I; however, details on it were unknown back then. Note that telos is a Greek word meaning purpose, or goal; the final end of a process. This seems to tie in with her rumored function and eventual task of destroying KOS-MOS.
A few known features are that she is the diametric opposite of KOS-MOS, wearing a black suit with red and dark purple highlights to contrast KOS-MOS' white, blue and gray uniforms. Notably her uniform resembles almost exactly KOS-MOS' Ver. 4 form, the ultimate form of KOS-MOS. T-elos also has dark skin, blue eyes, and silver hair. She seems to possess a sapient personality unlike KOS-MOS' robotic personality. Her power is 4.75 times that of KOS-MOS v.3 because T-elos interfaces directly with the U.M.N., regulating the material domain data. She emits red energy instead of blue energy. She appears to rely primarily on her physical strength and energy generation, though she does have an arm blade, an energy revolver similar to KOS-MOS, and the U-TENERITAS attack located on her chest just above her heart, which opens into a quadropod structure which focuses a ball of red plasma. The T-elos project is being headed by a man named Roth Mantel, a mysterious and previously unknown scientist now working with the Federation military. Similar to KOS-MOS, T-elos' development code is TP-XX.
T-elos's energy blade is on her left hand (as in her attack 'L-Blade' compared to KOS-MOS's 'R-Blade'). In Latin, sinister and dexter originally mean left and right respectively, suggested that KOS-MOS is dexterous/skillful whilst T-elos is sinister/malicious, sometimes even downright sadistic. It could also be a reference to the left-right brain specialization, as the left brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa; namely the left brain is concerned with linear thought and structure and right with intuition and creativity. This could explain the personality differences as KOS-MOS carries out her duties with efficiency whilst T-elos seems vain, brutal and borderline sadistic.
Furthermore, another of her attacks involving a revolver identical to KOS-MOS' pistol named "Magdalene 16", is the name of the follower and (according to the Gospel of Mary Magdalene) confidante of Jesus, or "Yeshua".
While KOS-MOS possesses the soul of Mary, T-elos possesses the body of Mary. Over 80% of the body structure is based on the reanimated body of Mary Magdalene, recovered from Rennes-le-Château, and thus can be rightly described as flesh and blood. This also means that technically T-elos is a cyborg, not an android. Intending to assimilate the consciousness of KOS-MOS, the half of Mary that exists in imaginary space, and become a single whole, T-elos is instead defeated and absorbed by the awakened KOS-MOS, who then becomes a fully realized Mary.
Recently T-elos has been confirmed to appear in the spinoff game of Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Mugen no Frontier: Super Robot Wars OG Saga, which had KOS-MOS appearing as well.

Gai Daigoji is a fictional character on the anime series Martian Successor Nadesico. His real name is Jiro Yamada (a very boring name in Japan, equal to being called John Smith in English), but he claims that Gai is his soul's name (something akin to 'Ace' or 'Max'). He is an Aestivalis pilot on the high mobile battleship Nadesico, and is also the ship's resident otaku. He is a rabid fan of the ancient anime series, Gekigangar 3 (a running spoof of Getter Robo in Nadesico). When he first boarded the Nadesico, he was angry at Akito Tenkawa because Akito had become another pilot, stealing Gai's previous limelight as the sole pilot aboard. They soon bond over their mutual love of Gekigangar, however. He played a crucial role in the Nadesico's escape from Earth, shooting down 7 UEAF robots.
However, Gai did not continue to play a significant role for he was fatally shot by Admiral Munetake when he and his fellow UEAF officers made their escape from the Nadesico. His death would cause a great deal of anguish for Akito. Despite his early death he makes several appearances later in the series; In Episode 14, the 'Filler/Recap' episode of the series, Ruri asked him. "Hey, aren't you supposed to be dead?" to which Gai replies something along the lines of, "Relax, it's a guy thing." There is also the Jovian, Tsukomo Shiratori who, as well as looking like Gai, is a Gekigangar fan and giant robot pilot. But like Gai, he dies as well, in exactly the same way.
Gai's next appearance, after his death, occurs after Akito quizzes Admiral Munetake about Gai's death. The Admiral was overcome with grief, and injects himself with the nanomachine treatment needed to pilot an Aestivalis. He then stole Seiya Uribatake's experimental Aestivalis, "X-tivalis". In his delusion, he sees the Cosmos as the Jovians and attacks it. As he flies towards the battleship, he sees Gekigangar III flying toward him. Gai appears, dressed as its pilot Tenku Ken and proclaiming himself as an angel of mercy. The Admiral next asks Gai whether he would forgive him, to which Gai replied: "He who is truly righteous has no memory of evil". With Gai guiding him, the Admiral charged the X-tivalis's Gravity Blast Cannon. This, as predicted by Seiya, caused an energy build up that caused the X-tivalis to explode, killing the Admiral.
Gai's final post-mortem appearance comes when Akito, Izumi and Akatsuki are all confronted by the epitome of their fears or feelings on death, each one taking the image of someone dear to them.
In only the second episode, Gai gives away information that foreshadow several large plot twists in the Martin Successor Nadesico series. In episode 2, after the entire crew is detained by the Earth military, Gai forces a reluctant crew to watch Gekigangar 3. During his defense of the series, Daigoji yells "...a secret base overthrown, a military conspiracy! Can't you see how the surviving children will rise up and resolve the situation with their own sweat and blood?" This is clearly a reference to the Jovian's origins; however, due to the placement in only the second episode and that Daigoji is prone to making nonsensical statements, the quote goes largely ignored.
There is discussion among fans of some of the similarities between Gai and Roy Fokker of Macross/Robotech. Both characters are ace pilots who serve as mentors to the male leads up until their untimely deaths. The English dub furthers this comparison by giving Gai the same voice actor as Roy (Brett Weaver).
In the Super Robot Wars series of video games, Gai typically escapes his fate and often comes back as a playable character even when he is seemingly killed later. In Super Robot Wars W, Gai is not shot after the Nadesico breaks out of Earth Orbit, but is thought dead when he is shot down during the ship's escape from Mars. However, he turns out to have been rescued by the Jovians. He rejoins the group, appearing to have established a camaraderie with Tsukumo, who survives his own death when Gai takes a bullet for him (Which Gai survives as well). Gai is shown as a member of the Artemis garrison alongside Ryoko when the events of the Prince of Darkness storyline begin, and is quickly recruited into the Nadesico-B's crew with her. Oddly, he is missing cut-in character portraits during regular attacks (though he is shown wearing a pilot suit resembling Ken from Gekiganger III while performing the Double Gekigan Flare combination attack with Tenkawa Akito). Despite that, his character portrait was indeed updated to have jet black hair instead of hints of gray to suit the character redesigns during the timeskip. Naturally, he is also written in to be hoping for Akito to return so they can fight alongside each other again (which does happen, as the Double Gekigan Flare attack is still present despite the events prior to Akito's return near the end).
________________________________________
Trivia: Gai's favorite show is Gekigangar 3, a spoof of Getter Robo. His seiyū, Tomokazu Seki's, favorite anime is Getter Robo. May be a coincidence or the seiyū may had wanted the role for that reason.

Emma Sheen
Emma Sheen (エマ・シーン Ema Shīn?) is a fictional character appearing in the Zeta Gundam series of the Gundam universe.
Story
Titan's Career
Emma was originally a Lieutenant Junior Grade in the Titans, an elite arm of the Earth Federation military formed especially to hunt out dissident spacenoids and Zeon remnants.
She, along with former wingmate Jerid Messa and then shuttle captain Bright Noa are witnesses to Kamille Bidan's theft of a prototype Gundam Mk-II from a secret facility on Green Noah space colony. This Gundam Mk-II and a second one is appropriated by AEUG. Emma is also there to witness the abusive treatment of Bright Noa by Captain Bask Om and Lieutenant Commander Jamaican Daninghan.
Emma is ordered by Bask to fly her Gundam MK-II (the only remaining of the three that hasn't been stolen), to Argama under the intention of truce. There, she is to deliver a message to AEUG leader Blex Forra. It becomes evident to Blex that Emma was totally unaware of the nature of the message, hence her seeming lack of concern. The AEUG is to surrender the stolen Gundam prototypes or they will kill a hostage.
This hostage turns out to be Kamille Bidan's mother Hilda whom he tries to rescue, only to fail, when Jerid Messa, under orders, destroys the space capsule in which she is imprisoned. Kamille is subsequently detained by the Titans and reunited with his father Franklin Bidan, also being held hostage.
Defection
Emma chooses an opportunity to break Kamille and Franklin out of detainment, disguise them as pilots and steal three mobile suits. They return to Argama and Emma announces her wish to defect.
Although Quattro Bajeena suspected that she might not be a true Titan, he, along with the rest of the crew, is nevertheless suspicious. Emma is placed on provisional status but it does not take long for her to prove herself in the eyes of the Argama crew.
AEUG career
Emma first pilots the RMS-099 Rick Dias for the AEUG, and then piloted Kamille's old repainted Gundam Mk-II after Kamille transferred to the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. Emma is often wingmates with Katz Kobayashi, who provides the mecha support for her to in order to form the Super Gundam. She later kills Jamaican Daninghan thanks to Yazan Gable's tricky.
The buff and hearty Henken Bekkener, captain of the Radish becomes attracted to the more formal and reserved Emma. Though she never formally told Henken that she felt the same way, their feelings were understood. Her love for Henken finally shows physically when she becomes very upset after witnessing Henken sacrifice himself to protect her from an attack by Titans ace Yazan Gable, by shielding the Mk-II with his own ship Radish.
Emma is almost immediately pitted in a duel with former AEUG friend, Reccoa Londe, who defected to join Paptimus Scirocco on the side of the Titans. In the ensuing duel, Emma manages to stab Reccoa's Pallas Athene with Mk-II's beam sword, disabling it. After abandoning her heavily damaged mobile suit, to check on Reccoa, Yazan attacks yet again. This time, he fires on the ruined Pallas Athene, destroying it and killing Reccoa. Emma is caught in the explosion and fatally injured by shrapnel. Emma would soon be retrieved by Kamille, but she soon dies in his arms.
