The school doors hadn't open for class yet but some groups of students were hanging about. Apollo noticed a few new students, some returnees. He wasn't looking forward to this school year, at all. All because of one reason: "Once you graduate, come back to the Seraphim empire to be wedded to your picked out wife." Oh, how those words in a letter he got months ago seamlessly echoed in his head.

She breathed in the air, the foreign air. It wasn't as dry as the one at home. As she walked closer to the school, for a better look, she could tell she wasn't welcome. Mostly by the dragoons. This is actually her first time seeing them, up close that is. Alexus's hand soon slipped down from the necklace as she tried to feel more at home.

After all, they had plans to meet him early to, well, discuss last year's situations. "So are you going to do it?" A boy shorter then Apollo asked. "Fight a dragon?" Apollo looked for confirmation. "Yes!" The group all said at once, Apollo had to cover his ears. "I don't think so." He mentioned and ran his hand through the top of his hair and held it there. "Pussy." A girl said. Apollo dropped his hand and frowned at the girl. "Language." He mouthed. He wasn't usually one for ugly words although he did cuss when he was mad. Apollo'swings were hidden so it wasn't easy to tell what species he was.

She walked past them and to a bench, a nice place to seat. She could see most groups and saw how they were laughing and enjoying themselves. It made her feel out place or even worst, back in the start of High school. She groaned at that as she remembered it. Alexus put her face into her left hand as her right one touched her Khopesh. The sword was long and had to hang down the side of her leg.

Everyone seemed bored, or lonely at least. A sudden bell ring echoed the courtyard. It was the bell to signal that the school was opened, however, classes didn't begin for another half hour. Apollo pulled away from his friends as they all walking inside to crowd the hallways. The courtyard was nothing but dead silence of the blowing wind. He fell on to his back, now laying in the overgrown grass. Apollo took in a few deep breaths.

So she wouldn't get pushed down, she went towards the bench she was standing on and stood on it. Students piled past her and into the school. Leaving an empty courtyard. She sighed as she jumped down and almost lost her balance. Alexus began to walk until she saw a body in the grass. Going towards it, she looked down. Her dark brown hair covered her fast from the side views. "Are you dead?"

He didn't mean to be rude about it, but sunlight barely shone through the tall building. That wasn't even why he was on the ground. He was more like causally breaking from socializing. Or maybe trying to get away from his Ex-girlfriends. Who knows.

"So you're alive," She told him as she ignored what he said. He seemed human, or maybe not. She was never taught about outside demons, only those in Egypt. Apollo decided to say. The sun blocked out all close objects to the eye. In other words, Apollo couldn't see Alexus so he figured, by the tone of her voice, that she wasn't his type. Nor would they probably be friends. He closed his eyes again after squinting them for a while. "Do you mind?" He said.

She looked at him closely, taking in his looks. Make friends! This is the best way to start off without people knowing where you came from! Her brothers words echoed through her ears as she stood straight. "They'll find out sooner or later, idiot." She said out loud, as if she was telling him face to face.

With his free arm, he grabbed her leg and pulled it out until she fell butt on his abdominal stomach. It hurt a little but not as bad as her stepping on him. "Idiot? We're complete strangers and you're calling me an idiot?" Apollo came to question "Well not complete strangers." His eyes opened as he realized. ' dang I was wrong about how you looked. ' Apollo got a better glance at Alexus.

Her hand went to her Khopesh, ready to pull it out and strike at him, but she stopped. She could lose. She didn't know what he was and this wasn't the perfect way to find out. "I was speaking to myself," She said. "I had remembered something my brother said, it was for him."

Apollo still laid there but her managed to sneak glances at Alexus. "Brother? I better be careful then." He said. Apollo pulled the back of his hand over his eyes. Class was going to be starting soon, the first day, and he was debating on skipping.

"Oh don't worry, he's somewhere far away." She told him as she looked towards the school. She should go, but what for? To let everyone laugh at her for being late? Alexus began to to think on that. {I should throw a big hero party for myself.}
