PROFILE: 
Sea, Eugene, and Shoo are the three female members of S.E.S. You may have noticed that the initials of each of their names are the basis of their group name. The group came into existence through auditions held by the Korean company SM Entertainment, who was looking to form a new girl group to complement their already popular male Korean pop group, H.O.T. S.E.S is also the first Korean girl band to debut under SM Entertainment. When the three were chosen to form this new female group, Shoo said that they were really close friends during the auditions, and that they were always together. So when they heard that they were all chosen, they were very excited and happy. It sounds like it was meant to be even though Bada (Sea) was supposed to be a solo singer at first.
The trio, S.E.S. (along with two other girl groups Baby V.O.X and FinKL) dominated the pop scene during the late 90's. They were one of the very first Korean groups to have debuted in Japan and other foreign countries and set the stage for future girl groups.
