She has played the piano since she was 2.

She, along with Kudo Haruka, are the youngest members of Morning Musume and was Born after The groups Formation in 1997

She auditioned for Morning Musume and passed

She blew a kiss during her second time on stage and called it MasaKiss.

She is the only one in the 10th Generation that has not had past experience in the entertainment industry.

She along with 9th Generation member Fukumura Mizuki are the only 2 Morning Musume left handed members.

She said If she was in A band she would play the drums, becuase they have good rhythm.

History

Sato Masaki was selected from Morning Musume's 10th Generation audition to join the group on September 29, 2011, along with Iikubo Haruna, Ishida Ayumi, and former Hello! Pro Egg Kudou Haruka.

The tenth generation made their official presentation on the same day they were announced as new members in the "Morning Musume Concert Tour Fall 2011 Ai Believe ~Takahashi Ai Graduation Memory Special~" concert, and they participated in a performance of the song "Tomo". In the final concert, they also participated in "Tomo" and the end of "Namidacchi".

Tsunku released a blog post about his choices and why he decided on them

Sato Masaki- The level of her dancing and singing is below the other three now, but she has a potential (literally raw ore) that she has yet to realize herself. Also, her skill level rose considerably during the audition. That is why she passed.
