This is a group for ppl that love sonic or any of sonics friends. Feel free to join and invite as many buddies as you like.
Sonic
Sonic's debut occurred in the 1991 platform game Sonic the Hedgehog (sometimes referred to simply as Sonic 1) for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, which also introduced his nemesis Dr. Ivo Robotnik (named Dr. Eggman in Japan, and, since Sonic Adventure, also in the West). His sidekick Miles "Tails" Prower joined him in the game's 1992 sequel Sonic 2. Sonic CD, released in 1993, introduced Sonic's self-proclaimed girlfriend Amy Rose and his robotic doppelgänger Metal Sonic as Sonic travelled through time to ensure a good future for the world. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and its direct sequel Sonic & Knuckles, both released in 1994, saw Sonic and Tails battle Robotnik again, with the additional threat of Knuckles the Echidna, tricked by Robotnik into fighting Sonic.
Other two-dimensional platformers starring Sonic include Sonic Chaos (1993), Sonic Triple Trouble (1994), Sonic Blast (1996), and Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure (1999). Sonic Advance in (2001), Sonic Advance 2 (2002), Sonic Advance 3 (2004), Sonic Rush (2005) Sonic Rush Adventure (2007). He will also appear in the Bioware game, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (2008).
Sonic Adventure (1998/1999) was Sonic Team's return to the character for a major game. It featured Sonic returning from vacation to find the city of Station Square under attack by a new, very powerful foe named Chaos, under the control of Dr. Eggman. This was also the first Sonic game to have a complete voice-over. Sonic Adventure 2 (2001) placed Sonic on-the-run from the military (G.U.N) after being mistaken for a new enemy, Shadow the Hedgehog, the Ultimate Life Form. Sonic Heroes (2003) has Sonic teaming up with Tails and Knuckles (along with other characters) against the newly rebuilt Metal Sonic, who had betrayed his master. Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) features Sonic in the city of water, "Soleanna", where he must rescue Princess Elise from Dr. Eggman while trying to avoid a new threat to his own life, Silver the Hedgehog. Sonic and the Secret Rings (2007) features Sonic in a story book world of the "Arabian Nights" where he must help a ring genie, "Shahra", regain the seven World Rings in order to defeat the evil Erazor Djinn. He will be appearing in the upcoming game Sonic Unleashed. Little is known about the plot other than Sonic will have to deal with himself becoming a Werewolf and will be aided by a new ally.
Tails
Tails was first seen in Sonic 2 for the Game Gear, where he was kidnapped by Robotnik for ransom. He was first made playable in the Genesis version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, playing the part of Sonic's sidekick. He was a playable character from the second controller and could be chosen as player one for the main game. Sonic Chaos (1993), on the Game Gear/Master System was the second game where the player could control Tails, and the first time the player could control his flight.
Tails made his third major appearance in 1994 when Sonic 3 was released, this time acquiring the ability to pick up Sonic and use his tails to fly him to other areas, rotating his tails like a helicopter. He also gained the ability to swim under water, something Sonic has never been able to do.
Knuckles
Knuckles lives on Angel Island, which hovers in the sky thanks to the power of the Master Emerald. His duty in life is to guard the Master Emerald, and he is the last surviving member of the Echidna people who once inhabited the island.
In Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Knuckles thought that Sonic and Tails were attempting to steal the Master Emerald, and that the infamous mad scientist Dr. Robotnik (also known as Dr. Eggman) was trying to protect it. However, Robotnik had lied to Knuckles. He was planning to use the Emerald to repair his space station, the Death Egg. In Sonic & Knuckles, in the Hidden Palace Zone, Eggman's betrayal was revealed to Knuckles very bluntly, in the form of an electric shock. Since then, Knuckles has joined Sonic and Tails in their quest to stop the villain.
Aside from appearances in the main Sonic series, Knuckles featured prominently in Knuckles Chaotix, a relatively unknown spin-off title developed for Sega 32X. The game also introduced Team Chaotix, a group of comical misfits.
In Sonic Adventure, the Master Emerald shatters when Eggman frees Chaos and Tikal's spirit from within it, causing Angel Island to fall out of the sky. Knuckles's goal is to reassemble the shards of the Master Emerald. These levels are large, explorable areas in which players must hunt about the various Action Stages for three shards per stage.
In Sonic Adventure 2, Knuckles the Echidna is guarding the Master Emerald when Rouge the Bat attempts to steal it. In the middle of their argument, Dr. Eggman snatches the emerald. Knuckles then shatters it in order to prevent Eggman from successfully obtaining it. Knuckles then sets off to find the pieces and restore the Master Emerald once more, before Rouge does. The gameplay is similar to the first Adventure title.
Amy
Despite her frequent use in Sega games (especially since the Dreamcast era), Amy was not actually created by Sonic Team. A prototype version of her appeared in the Sonic the Hedgehog manga published in 1992, and there she was literally "the girlfriend of Nikki (Sonic)", as the description translates. After that appearance, Sega took the character, and Kazuyuki Hoshino redesigned her for Sonic CD in 1993. It is said that she is always wearing a red dress and Converse-like running shoes.
In her first game appearance, Sonic CD (1993), Amy was introduced and kidnapped by Metal Sonic. Doctor Robotnik then used the time stones to set time back on the Little Planet. Robotnik forced Sonic to challenge Metal Sonic in a race for Amy's life, which Sonic had won. Amy was rescued and Metal Sonic was destroyed for the time being. She had the nickname "Rosy the Rascal" at this point, and was named "Princess Sally" in the Western manuals to tie in with the cartoon, though all later games called her Amy. Being a Genesis-era game (though technically a Sega CD game), Sonic CD's plot was minimal. Amy's only personality trait was that she was a big fan of Sonic, and no real reason was given for her kidnapping besides as bait for Sonic. Though Sonic CD was released after Sonic the Hedgehog 2, it was in production at the same time, meaning that Amy has more or less been around as long as Tails.
Shadow
Shadow debuted in the game Sonic Adventure 2 as one of three main antagonists, alongside Rouge the Bat. Dr. Eggman set Shadow free from a G.U.N. base on Prison Island, where he had spent 50 years imprisoned. In exchange, Shadow agreed to aid the doctor in his plans to take over the world; holding in secret his true intentions as wishing to get revenge for the death of his friend, Maria Robotnik. To achieve this, Shadow revealed the primary weapon of the Space Colony ARK - the Eclipse Cannon - to Dr. Eggman, blowing up half of the Moon in demonstration. In a twist of fate, Shadow ultimately aided Sonic when realizing Maria's true wish with the help of Amy Rose (Chris in the anime "Sonic X"), which was to save humanity. In the Last Story, Eggman inserts the final Chaos Emerald into the Eclipse Cannon's power core, only to initiate a destabilization program on the ARK. Gerald Robotnik then revealed that he had made this function to have revenge for Maria, and that the ARK would destroy the Earth. Meanwhile, Sonic and Knuckles had reached the Central Core, where they ran afoul of the Biolizard, the Prototype of the Ultimate Life Form (and technically Shadow's older brother). After Shadow arrives to distract (and ultimately defeat) the Biolizard so Sonic and Knuckles can deactivate the Emeralds, Knuckles uses the Master Emerald to stop the Chaos Emeralds. But the Biolizard uses Chaos Control to fuse with the ARK and create The FinalHazard, continuing the station's plummet toward Earth. Then, as Super Sonic and Super Shadow, they destroy the FinalHazard, and using their pooled energies, use Chaos Control to move the ARK safely back into Earth's orbit. Afterwards, Shadow fell to the earth and was presumed dead.
Silver
Silver's introductory appearance is in Sonic the Hedgehog for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. His individual episode revolves around him travelling back in time to find the "Iblis Trigger" (Sonic the Hedgehog), who was the cause of his world being destroyed in the future. He is partnered with Blaze the Cat, a female cat who first debuted in Sonic Rush . Over the course of the game, Silver learns the truth about the "Iblis Trigger", and how his world can be saved from destruction.
Silver's stages stray away from traditional Sonic elements as his stages center on the usage of his telekinetic abilities. Silver must use his psychic abilities to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. He is capable of altering surrounding environments at will, enabling access to various paths in the levels that other characters cannot, or require springs and other devices to reach. He is the slowest of the three main characters.
Blaze
Blaze and Sonic are the only playable characters in Sonic Rush, the game in which Blaze debuted.[3][4]According to the storyline of the game, Blaze is a princess from another dimension, and the guardian of the Sol Emeralds.[5] Throughout the game, she learns the meaning of friendship from Sonic and his friends, especially Cream the Rabbit. Cream opens her up to the world and the two become close friends. It is through the power of friendship that she realizes the true powers of the Sol Emeralds and transforms into "Burning Blaze" as a product of the Sol Emeralds, to help Super Sonic stop Dr. Eggman and Eggman Nega from taking over the universe. After Sonic and Blaze finish their adventure, they promise to see each other again and say their goodbyes as they shake hands, being torn from each other as a result of their respective dimensions being returned to normal. Blaze now understands her power and the meaning of friendship as she thinks of Sonic's words of advice.[2]
Blaze appears in the 15th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog.[6] This envisioning of Blaze hails from the future. In the future, she constantly fights the fiery being Iblis, along with her life-long friend, Silver the Hedgehog. This is likely a completely different incarnation of the character, as she shows no connection to the other dimension or her royal heritage, although she does show some interest the first time Sonic is mentioned to her and Silver in the game, implying it may be possible that this is the same Blaze. It should also be noted that only Blaze could seal Iblis inside her instead of Silver, just like Princess Elise, which also supports Blaze has some royal heritage.
Cream
Cream's first playable appearance is in Sonic Advance 2,[2] where she was the first unlockable playable character. Like Sonic's friends, she is kidnapped by Doctor Eggman and Sonic must rescue her before she can become playable. Just before the final level, Dr. Eggman kidnaps her mother, Vanilla, who is eventually rescued by Super Sonic after he destroys the final boss. In Sonic Heroes, Cream is part of Team Rose[3], the "Beginner" Team, consisting of her, Amy Rose and Big the Cat, acting as their flight member. The trio are on a quest to find Cheese's sibling, Chocola, Big the Cat's friend Froggy, and Sonic. Cream is portrayed as being extremely polite and mannered in the game.[4] Sonic was seen in a newspaper photograph with Froggy and Chocola. In the game, she can only use Cheese as a means of self-defense when the other two team members are incapacitated or otherwise not present.
Rouge
Rouge first appears in Sonic Adventure 2 as the treasure-hunting character of the Dark Story, making her the equivalent of Knuckles, her goal being to seek out the pieces of the Master Emerald. She primarily attacks with kicks. She also drives a car in one level. She fights the boss Flying Dog (a G.U.N robot), and her rival, Knuckles who saves her from falling into the hopper of molten metal in her last boss battle. In the following cutscene, she gives up the shards of the Master Emerald she had collected saying "They stink like Echidnas do." In Cannon's Core, Rouge is the third of five characters to go through the level and is given Shadow's ring cufflink by Sonic after the defeat of the Final Hazard.
