{青春舞台} 12 epiosdes/ Dance n Athlete Drama
Han Geng play by(夏磊) Xia Lei: a young man who loves to dance, his dad is a top notched archery athlete, because of the death of Xia Lei’s mom and also a missed opportunity in the last Olympic, his dad wish Xia Lei to follow his footsteps [follow dad’s dream to become an outstanding athlete to enter the Olympics). However Xia Lei(夏磊) only likes to dance, after going through dad’s objections, challenges after challenges, & with persistence, he finally raises to a higher level, achieves brilliance, & become the new generation’s dancing star.

Kenny Kwan play by关智斌 as 阿呸 /a pei/: Xia Lei’s best buddy
Huang Yi play by 田会会 /tian hui hui/: Xia Lei’s childhood friend, a student of Xia Lei’s dad, an archer athlete, but had a brain injury damaging her visions in an incident when she tried to stop Xia Lei from participating in a car race. After being disqualified from being on the team training for Olympics, she continued to practice with the blurred vision & master the skill of being able to “listen to the wind” (LOL I don’t know how to translate this one, archery is not my thing). She got back into the Olympics team.

Joey Yung play by申真依/Yumiko Cheng play by 申真慧: Korean sisters, younger sister is a famous manager for dancer(s), coming to China to find the next star & discovered both Xia Lei & Ding Xiao. Older sister is another archery athlete, coming to China to amiliarize herself with the stadiums & etc, & finds her best rival to be Tian huihui, but offers support nevertheless. yada yada. btw, their dad is Xia Lei’s dad’s old buddy and rival in archery as well.

Zhang Jun Ning play by张峻宁 / as 丁笑 /ding xiao/: Xia Lei’s rival, but will join forces later & defeat skilled dancer(s) from Korea (after reading the description a few times, I think they meant they were challenged to a dancing contest(?) by Korean dancer(s) & won at the end.
