I didn't do anything but nod.

Admiring him from a distance, yet sitting just next to him. It had taken Isabel much courage to speak to him, but all the words that get through her lips forms a jumbled up sentence that is so trivial and nonsensical. This caused her to retreat back into the shadows, as she blushed furiously over her yet another failed attempt.
In situations like this, her shyness and inexperience sure is a handicap...,
Sigh, when will I ever grow up? She thinks to herself. Peering out of the window, a fresh breeze of wind blows in and gets dissipated as it creates swirls in her long brown hair. How I wish to be free from these hindering feelings... Is this that they call falling in love?
This bitter-sweet feeling that swells within you and melts your heart? Even the beautiful scenery and the inviting lure of the outdoors can’t secure her attention for long. Time and time again, she catches herself sneaking peeks at his soft features, alluring smile, kind eyes and unusually silky hair.
Catching her by surprise, he suddenly ask; “Isabel, do you have an older brother?”
Her answer is curt and abrupt;”er...No! Why do you ask?”
Smilling, he replies, ”well, you resemble my friend back in elementary school.”
He continues by saying,”to be frank, being in a mixed school for the first time since kinder garden, can be rather distracting...some of the girls here are really good looking...”
“Alright, class is dismissed, remember to get those pages done by tonight....”instructed Mr Wilson in the front of the class.
“Bye Isabel, see you tomorrow...”he says on the way to the door.
“Bye...” she replied .The Isabel’s heart crumpled. Not only does he see her as another of his guy friends, but also makes her uncomfortable with his truthful comments.
On her way out of the gates of school, she stopped dead in her tracks. Three metres before her was Claire and him, walking hand in hand. He whispered in Claire’s ear and they laughed. Never before had Isabel seen him so happy and cheerful.
The message their body language radiated was all too clear...they were together.
Right at this moment, Isabel was shattered, but made an effort to convince herself otherwise. Claire was the first person she made friends with since the start of school just three and a half weeks ago.
She had been kind and friendly towards Isabel, doing her best as a student leader to help Isabel fit in. Isabel was utterly grateful to Claire for that and soon they became best friends.
All at once, conflicting thoughts flowed through Isabel.“They seem truly happy being together, I should be happy for them...yet my heart aches and I can’t contain my tears...NO! I must not cry! I shall steer clear of them from now on so as not to ...sniff, I really love them both...I am such an idiot!”
After a moment of hesitation, Isabel turned around and ran off in the other direction. A trail of tears lined Isabel’s path for a split second in the air before they fell to the ground

"Looks and Lies"

You made smile
You made me cry
I tried all me life not to hide
Even in fears

In through time, as we found
A similar crime
So many said
"He isnt right......She's not the one
forget what you saw ......theres nothing to like
you shouldnt talk to her......
he's nothing more than a fake for sure...."
So why couldn't we stay apart
Living a lie...wasn't that hard
Sometimes we laughed
Sometimes we cried
But even through all of this time...
He says "I love you and nothing more....I hate that other dont like us together any more.."
And as time passed ....and went on with our lives when we were with others we never lookked twice......
