BIOGRAPHY

SuG was formed in October 2006 by Takeru (vocals), masato (guitar), yuji (guitar),all former members of TRAVEL, and Shouta (bass, ex-AmeriA). In November, MITSURU (known as Aoshi while with Retina) joined as drummer. Then in February, Shouta left and was replaced by current bassist Chiyu (ex-Nana). SuG wasn't really all that well known until shortly after Chiyu joined and they released their first song on the compilation album CANNONBALL vol. 3. The band continued increaseing their fame by doing live performances throughout that spring and summer and then in August, they signed to the indies division of PS Company (one of the most well known and respected visual kei companies). SuG also released their first major single, Scheat, that same August. This was followed in September by Alterna. With the release of Alterna, SuG's fame skyrocketed. Then on December 18, Love Scream Party was released. To finish off 2007, SuG toured in Cologne, Germany during their I Scream Party tour on December 29th for the J-Rock Invasion concert.
