- Making music is my life. Through music, I am given life. "Something" exists that many people have lost sight of and yet know the truth of deep down inside. My desire is to create music that may function as a reminder of this forgotten "something." I truly hope that my music might serve as a force to help unite all living creatures, this planet, and the cosmos into one. To bring about a deep understanding that is beyond border, race, religion, and nationality. To encourage the evolution of people's consciousness. I started out as a member of the band LUNA SEA and until recently was a part of The FLARE. Now, as the solo artist SUGIZO I participate in a diverse array of projects based in Tokyo including the psychedelic jam band SHAG and the shamanic electronica unit S.T.K.(Sensual Technology Kooks).

Recent Acts:
- S.K.I.N., the Japanese rock supergroup created by SUGIZO, YOSHIKI (ex. X JAPAN), Gackt, and Miyavi, officially began activities in spring of 2007. At J Rock Revolution, a festival held in May in Los Angeles, SUGIZO and YOSHIKI created a stir by taking the stage with Miyavi as guest performers. S.K.I.N.'s first concert took place in June at Anime Expo [AX] 2007. In July, SUGIZO played with JUNO REACTOR as the White Stage's main act on the final day of the Fuji Rock Festival.
