T-ara (Korean: 티아라; pronounced T Ara) is a Korean girl group from Seoul, South Korea under the management of Mnet Media in 2009. A six member group, two members being withdrawn from the group having three other people replacing them, debuting on July 28, 2009 on a show called MBC Radio Star.

South Korean girl group T-ara is currently the endorser of Hi-Mart.
Many promotional pictures of the girls for Hi-Mart have been shared already.
But this is the first time that they promote it while wearing school uniforms and even with toga.

Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2012 - January Week 4

With Korea celebrating Lunar New Year holidays this past week, movement on the music chart have slowed down a bit. Our top two songs remained the same as last week, with T-Ara’s “Lovey Dovey” repeating as No. 1 for the second consecutive week, and Dynamic Duo’s “Without You” holding on to the second spot. Both songs have a slight increase in points. “Lovey Dovey” has another impressive showing with 985 points, just 15 shy of a perfect score. The only source to prevent “Lovey Dovey” from being perfect was in Airplay, where this song was third behind MBLAQ’s “This Is War” and Teen Top’s “Crazy”. The latter rises a spot to No. 3 and becomes Teen Top’s first ever top three hit. “Lovey Dovey” is still way in front of other songs in scores and barring a major collapse, it is expected to three-peat as No. 1 next week.

A few weeks ago, T-ara kicked off their “Lovey Dovey” promotions with an MV teaser for “Lovey Dovey in Tokyo“. The full version has just been released, and it’s filled to the brim with fun shots from their time in Japan.

The girls are seen bowling, rocking out at a club, and enjoying themselves generally in Tokyo. The song used in the video is “Lovey Dovey (Club Remix Ver.)“.

Today’s show was hosted by none other than MBLAQ’s G.O and Thunder, both guiding the show with their good looks and outgoing personalities.

Competing for the #1 spot, it was a hot battle between MBLAQ, T-ara, and TEEN TOP, but in the end, it was T-ara who clinched the win tonight with “Lovey Dovey“!

T-ara's “Roly-Poly” was first originally released in South Korea last summer,but because it became such a huge hit that not only reigned music charts for weeks, but also inspired to create a musical version.
