Giotto a.k.a. Vongola I (Primo)
The first head of the Vongola Family. He started the Vongola Family 400 years before the start of the story. He retired early and moved to Japan where he started a family which eventually produced Tsuna, making him Tsuna's great-great-great grandfather. He and Tsuna both use gloves as their primary weapon, however, Giotto's gloves has an 'I' engraved on it, which represents the number '1' in Roman numerals.
Besides Tsuna, Giotto was the only boss who had an unorthodox family. That is, he accepted anyone he liked: kings, military men, rival Mafia members, and even religious people. He is shown in chapter 158, along with the rest of the former Vongola heads. His appearance is similar to Tsuna's.

Vongola II (Secondo)
The second head of the Vongola Family. He first appeared in chapter 158 in the imaginary dimension where the previous Vongola heads gathered. He has a power known as the "Flame of Anger", (similar to Xanxus, who coincidentally looks similar in appearance also).
Vongola III (Terzo)
The third head of the Vongola Family. His first main appearance is in chapter 158. He uses knives to fight.
Vongola IV (Quatro)
The fourth head of the Vongola Family. His first appearance is in chapter 158. His main weapon of choice is a fork.
Vongola V (Quinto)
The fifth head of the Vongola Family. His first appearance is in chapter 158. He has a center-parting hairstyle and resembles Gokudera. He is seen to be holding an unknown flaming weapon.
Simora a.k.a. Vongola VI (Sesto)
The sixth head of the Vongola Family. His first appearance is in Chapter 158. Other than wearing a monocle and holding a flaming weapon (possibly a boomerang) with decorative carvings, not much is known about him.
Fabio a.k.a. Vongola VII (Settimo)
The seventh head of the Vongola Family. His flame was considered to be weak in terms of the other heads. In order to counter that weakness, he used guns that focused his flame as his primary weapon. Although he had a weak flame, his mastery of marksmanship gave him one of the highest attacks in all of the Vongola heads. He appears in chapter 158, donning a fedora.
Daniela a.k.a. Vongola VIII (Ottavo)
The eighth and only known female head of the Vongola Family. She first appeared in chapter 158, and is shown with a flowery tattoo on her face. She is shown with an unknown flaming weapon. In a small family tree, she is shown to be the mother of Timoteo a.k.a. Vongola IX
Timoteo a.k.a. Vongola IX (Nono)
The current head of the Vongola crime family. The Vongola IX's stamp is the Dying Will Flame; he marks documents with his flame, proving they are official. His age is unknown, but it is implied that he is becoming too weak to lead the family, which is why he searches for his successor. It is revealed that he has been plagued with problems concerning his legs, thereby limiting his mobility.[12]
He initially accepted Iemitsu's son, Tsuna, as the next head of the Vongola Family, but soon changed his mind and decided that his son, Xanxus, was more worthy to become the next boss. Since Iemitsu wants Tsuna to become the 10th boss, the IX sanctioned the traditional Vongola battle; those who wield the same ring will have a one-on-one battle. It was later revealed that he was not the one that sanctioned the battle, but a fake IX that Xanxus had appointed. When Xanxus found out that the real IX would not appoint him as the next boss, he kidnapped the IX and placed him within Gola Moska's armor, draining him of his life energy. When Tsuna sliced Gola Moska's armor in half, an extremely weakened IX was revealed to be inside. Before passing out, he was able to use his flame to show Tsuna his past; the IX used to visit Tsuna when he was just a child.
In the future, he has been unaccounted for since the Millefiore Family raided the main Vongola headquarters. During Tsuna's training within Hibari's spiked ball, he appears in a vision with the other Vongola heads and is shown with a flaming scepter, his signature Dying Will Flame weapon. Seeing him in the vision causes Tsuna to believe that he may be dead.
