amazing actor, amazing films, amazing hair - too cool for school

My gawd, Asano Tadanobu is one of the most weirdest, entertaining, and extrodinary actors I ve seen in a long time. Love most of his movies. On top of that, he is just is plain AWESOME! He oozes coolness.

All the movies are gone...

He's underrated? Really? I always thought he would be popular since he's in a ton of movies and commercials. :|

It's unbelievable that Asano is underrated in Japan, he is like the best ambassador Japan could possible have. For me he is like one of the best actors ever!!!

I also liked Asano as the detective in two of the stories from the anthology, Rampo Noir.

I found Asano to be very good in the very surreal, visually memorable film by the late Teuro Ishii, Screwed.

It'd be interesting to see him do a film with Seijun Suzuki.

I would also like to see Asano do another film with Miike. Esp with Eihi Shiina as costar.

I forgot about chan-wook park. That's a good choice. Asano has not done a film with him before. Others I would add are Kim Ki Duk and Wisit Sasanatieng.
