The name "SuG" has 2 meanings.
One of them comes from the pronunciation from the numbers "3" and "9" [SuG's Day=March 9th], the numbers are referred to as "san" for 3 and "kyu" for 9, so 3+9 sounds as "sagu" (SuG).
The other one is that it is derived from the transliteration of the English word "thug", written in Japanese as (サグ Sagu?). The name is then simplified to the slightly more romantic "Sug."

We would like to inform about the shipment which delivers to band members as a gift.
Our staff take a responsibility for handling all presents and the fan mail to each member but depending on the schedule, it might takes a while until members actually get them.
Please check the following which prohibited so the members receive presents and letters without any trouble.

-food and drink、any living animal、flower、product which needs of Freezing or Refrigeration and anything that requires specific keeping condition for a health.
Please do not drop off your presents and fan letters directly into our mail box, or handling to our office.

"the cast" The 5 members are leader and guitar - Araki Hirofumi (25), vocals - Takeru (age unknown), bass - Kiriyama Renn (23), drums - Ookawa Genki (21) and guitar - Ono Kento (19).
Synopsis: Beatrock Love is a youth story about a visual kei band, where the members, also being friends, of a band called Love Diving enter a contest and try to advance their career further while getting hurt by their opponents.

SuG was formed in October 2006 by Takeru, Masato and Yuji who had all been members of another band called Travel, and Shouta. The drummer Mitsuru then joined in November of the same year.
Shouta left the band in February and was replaced by Chiyu on bass. Their first release was "7th Breeze" on the compilation album Cannonball Vol. 03. The band signed to to the visual-kei label PS Company and in August released their first single, "Scheat".
SuG have recently released an EP entitled Love Scream Party. To promote their music outside of Japan, SuG performed at "J-Rock Invasion" in Germany alongside Kagrra, Kra, Alice Nine and Screw who are also signed to CLJ Records, a German label
