Kenshin Himura was a master assassin known as the Hitokiri Battousai the strongest of the Imperialists. Now in the 11th year of Meiji he resurfaces as a wanderer, fighting for justice with his reversed blade sword. He finds himself staying with an assistant kendo instructor, Kaoru Kamiya, of the Kamiya Kasshin style. Soon after, Kenshin's title of the strongest starts to cause trouble for him as he deals with his blood stained past and fights for the ones he cares for.
