My name is Nakashima Michiyo, and I'm a cosplayer. I'm terrible at singing, and I love writing! :D
BIOGRAPHY!
Nakashima Michiyo was born on September 20th, 1992, in Nara, Japan. Her family moved three times-- from Nara to Osaka, from Osaka to Tokyo, and from Tokyo back to Nara. Michiyo herself has moved four times-- three with her family, and once by herself to stufy abroad in America. She currently resides in New York City, New York.
Michiyo has been called Chii for many years, started by her best friends in kindergarten. The 'Mi' in her name is three, and is written as the kanji for the number three. The 'Chi' in her name means thousand, and is written as the kanji for the number thousand. The 'Yo' in her name represents the word generation, and is written so, in kanji.
Her ethnicity is Chinese-Japanese, but her father (of Chinese decent) split from the family when Michiyo was small. In America, she stays with her Aunt and Uncle and their little boy named Jirochi.
She also has a younger brother of her own-- he is seven, and is named Takeshi. Let's just say they've gotten into too many fights to count. Nonetheless, deep, deep, deep, deep down, we're sure Michiyo and Takeshi love each other very much. Waaaaay deep down.
Michiyo started cosplay when she was 10 years old, so it has gone on for about 6 years now. The first cosplay she remembers doing was of Pikachu, on October 31th, when her class was learning about the American holiday of All Hallow's Eve. She had walked around the Harajuku district with Pikachu clothes on.
Now, she's finally glad that she's figured out photoshop, and can hopefully edit some of her own pictures now and can stop asking Jirochi to do it for her. >.<
