the "bring my perfect mate to me" spell
what you'll need:
- a pink or red candle (pink if you're to attract,red for sex; use a votive or pillar candle depending on how much time you want to put into this)
-a photograph of the person you wish to attract
-1 or 2 pieces of parchment or paper cut from brown paper bag.
-any 1, or a mixture, of the following oils: rose,musk,patchouli,strawberry,gardenia,vanilla,or clove
-orrisroot powder or ground cinnamon
-a nail
-something to write with
-string
-matches
-a metal bowl and fireproof trivet

how it works:
the best time to work love spells is on a friday while the moon is waxing. venus rules friday and you definitely want her on your team. avoid saturdays, unless you're trying to dump someone. saturdays are ruled by saturn. if you've ever seen the mythical image of saturn wandering around with the hooded cloak and scythe, you'll understand. no one wants the grim reaper around when shes trying to attract love.

candle spells are all-purpose, everyday affairs that dont require full regalia. casting a circle isn't necessary. but if attracting love is a very big deal for you, then i recommend doing it in a circle. just remember to gather all your ingredients beforehand.
with the nail, inscribe the candle with the name of the person you want to attract. if you aren't focusing on someone specific, inscribe "perfect mate" or something along those lines. etch a few hearts, the gebo rune X and the symbol for venus while you're at it. any symbol that signifies true love will help.
