Introducing Asia's Pop Dance Group f(x)!
f(x) is a girl group from Seoul, South Korea created by SME in 2009. A multi-national group, the quintet consists of 5 Korean members (oldest to youngest): Victoria, Amber, Luna, Sulli, and Krystal.
The `x` in `f(x)` is like a variable, where if the `x` changes, the result will be different. Which correlates to the members diverse skills and backgrounds, which will allow them to not only flourish in Korea. In addition, the `f` stands for "flower", and the `x` stands for the female chromosome `xx`. And like a flower, they will blossom and become hot icons to represent Asia as the top "Asian Pop Dance Group."
f(x) is pronounced "effects"
The group debuted with their 1st single Lachata. And as they progress to one of the top stars, along with label-mate SNSD, they released another digital single called Chocolate Love in which they performed the `electronic pop version` for LG Cyon phone. f(x) was also one of the groups that performed at the 2009 Dream Concert, along with many other music artists from SNSD, SuJu, 2NE1, KARA.
