Members:
Aaron Yan:
Aaron Yan (simplified Chinese: 炎亚纶; traditional Chinese: 炎亞綸; pinyin: Yán Yǎlún) is a Taiwanese singer, commercial model and actor. He is currently the youngest member of the boy band Fahrenheit.[1] He is 177 cm tall. Wu Geng Lin Aaron (simplified Chinese: 吴庚霖; traditional Chinese: 吳庚霖; pinyin: Wú Gēnglín) was born on November 20, 1985 in Taiwan. At a young age, his family moved to New York, U.S., where he stayed for his primary school education for about five years. He then moved back to Taiwan for further education.
He can speak and understand Mandarin, Taiwanese, English and limited Japanese and Cantonese. He was a sophomore at Chinese Culture University, majoring in Journalism and News Broadcasting. However, because his career had greatly affected his academics and learning environment, he transferred to Jin Wen University of Science and Technology, majoring in English.
Wu Chun:
Wu Zun (simplified Chinese: 吴尊; traditional Chinese: 吳尊; pinyin: Wú Zūn; Wade-Giles: Wu Tsun), also referred to as Wu Chun, is a Brunei-born actor of Han Chinese descent, singer, a former model, and gym instructor. He is the only non-Taiwanese born member of the boy band Fahrenheit, and is known for his roles in the Taiwanese idol dramas Hanazakarino Kimitachihe, Romantic Princess, Hot Shot and Tokyo Juliet. Born Goh Kiat Chun (simplified Chinese: 吴吉尊; traditional Chinese: 吳吉尊; pinyin: wú jízūn) in Brunei on October 10, 1979[1], Wu studied at the Chung Hwa Middle School in Bandar Seri Begawan. He later graduated from the RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Wu also played basketball for Brunei's national team,he[citation needed] Prior to joining Fahrenheit, he was a model for Yi Lin (伊林) in Taiwan and for Diva Models in Singapore. Wu speaks — with varying degrees of fluency — Minnan, English, Cantonese, Malay, and Mandarin.[citation needed] He manages a family-owned gym club, Fitness Zone in Brunei. As of Aug 2007, Wu is appointed as the chairman of newly opened Palm Garden Hotel and its neighbouring multi-story Fitness Zone centre in Brunei. For his effort and success, Wu was awarded Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Brunei during the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards in August 2008 organized by the regional think-thank organization, Enterprise Asia.
Calvin Chen
Calvin Chen Yi Ru (traditional Chinese: 辰亦儒; pinyin: Chén Yìrú) is a Taiwanese singer and actor. He is currently a member of the boy band Fahrenheit. His stage name is a homophone of his birth name. Calvin Chen (simplified Chinese: 陈奕儒; traditional Chinese: 陳奕儒; pinyin: chén yìrú) was born on November 10, 1980, in Taiwan. His stage name is actually a homophone of his birth name. After graduating from Jianguo High School, one of the top high schools in Taiwan, he further pursued his college education in Canada at Simon Fraser University. He completed his masters degree in Economics at the University of Victoria. He then further continued his life in Canada by joining a pageant-like competition (Sunshine Boyz) in Vancouver, where he won first place with a free ticket to Taiwan and a contract with a music company, as well as a role in a drama in 2004 and became a member of Fahrenheit in 2005. He had enrolled in the graduate program in Public Finance at National Chengchi University, but discontinued his study to focus on his showbiz career. He launched his first fashion brand WOW in Oct. 2008.
He speaks Mandarin, English, Taiwanese, and understands conversational Cantonese. His star sign is Scorpio and he has type A blood.
Jiro Wang
Jiro Wang (simplified Chinese: 汪东城; traditional Chinese: 汪東城; pinyin: Wāng Dōngchéng), nicknamed Da Dong (simplified Chinese: 大东; traditional Chinese: 大東) is a Taiwanese actor and singer. He is currently a member of the boy band Fahrenheit, and is widely known as the male lead in the Taiwanese idol drama KO One (終極一班) and its sequel The X-Family, as Ah Jin in It Started With a Kiss and its sequel, and Jin Xiu Yi in the live-action Taiwanese drama, Hana-Kimi (花樣少年少女). Jiro Wang was born August 24, 1981, in Taiwan. He graduated at Fu Shin Trade and Arts College with a degree in Advertising Design. After his graduation, he dedicated his life toward the entertainment business. He was first asked to join the entertainment business because he showed his looks at a competition. BMG, the label that signed him, planned to package him with Jay Chou and Jordan Chan to form a boy band called 3J, but, because of 9/11, BMG's stocks crashed and the 3J plan was scrapped.[1] Jiro then decided to continue his career in the industry by working backstage, mainly in charge of fashion designing and other designing necessities, as well as commercial modeling. He was approached again around 2004, when his acting career began.
He speaks fluent Taiwanese and Mandarin.
He used to play in an underground band named Karma as the lead singer. They have performed a song called 人間逃亡記 with lyrics composed by Jiro. After that, the band changed the name to Dong Cheng Wei (東城衛) without changing the members in the band. The band never received much popularity until Jiro joined Fahrenheit.
When he was 18, his father died, leaving him with his mother to pay the family's debt. This forced him into the commercial and modeling industry. The commercials he has appeared in include one for Megniu (a yogurt brand) as part of Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit features in Suan Tian (among other songs) with the Taiwanese girl group S.H.E.
Because of Jiro's poor health, he often loses his voice, so he always has the medicine his mom prepared for him. Behind the stage, he's always quiet because the doctor told him not to talk as much if he doesn't want to lose his voice; because of Xerophthalmia, he once couldn't complete the filming because he couldn't open his eyes. He also has Rhinitis which occasionally causes his speech to sound like it is coming from his nose.
