Hey! I'm Uzumaki Naruto and I welcome you all to this Naruto fanatics group page! Yush!


Naruto is based on a manga featured in Shonen Jump in Japan, made by Masashi Kishimoto. It focuses on a young boy, Naruto Uzumaki, who lives in the ninja village of Konoha (Konohakagure). Twelve years prior to the start of the manga, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Kyuubi in Japanese) terrorized the village and its citizens. The Fourth Hokage (Yondaime Hokage), came forward to challenge the Fox and, at the cost of his own life, sealed the powers of the Nine Tailed Fox inside of Naruto. Despite the Fourth Hokage's wish that Naruto be deemed a hero for being the "container" (Jinchuriki) of the Nine Tailed Fox's powers thus saving the village from ruin - and the Third Hokage's decree that no one mention Naruto's plight - the villagers hate him and treat him as the demon fox itself. The children of the villagers follow their parents' lead and isolate Naruto. As a result, Naruto becomes the 'class clown" at the Ninja Academy and strives for recognition and attention. He also decides to aim to become the Hokage - the most powerful and respected ninja in the village - so he would earn the respect of the villagers and others. Part I of the resulting anime, Naruto, focuses on his early years and the resulting friendships he makes among his teammates and others he encounters. Part II, Naruto Shippuden (Hurricane Chronicles), focuses on Naruto after a two and a half year training trip with Jiraiya, one of the legendary Three Ninja (Sannin). His friends have all grown and moved up in rank - except him. However, that doesn't deter him from his ultimate dream: becoming Hokage. The Akatsuki organization is more prominent as they are after all of the tailed beasts, including the Nine Tailed Fox (Kyuubi).

Test your Naruto Knowledge!

This section will only cover information that has been covered in the anime, the corresponding chapters of the manga and in the Naruto/Naruto Shippuden movies, which will include Bonds. This will change when the new anime and manga episodes appear and will contain (hopefully) NO spoilers.

Question: In the First Naruto Shippuden Movie, there are two countries that are the central locations of the plot. Name one of the two countries:

Answer Time: The answer is (c) Swamp Country. The other location was the Demon Country. The two parts of the demon were placed in shrines located in both the Swamp Country and the Demon Country. The purpose was to never allow the two parts to come together to cause danger.

Did you know???:

I am going to change this one a bit. For a while, I am going to be introducing you to some of the Naruto Characters, possibly some of the more lesser-known characters. For the first character, I chose Team Minato, featured in the Kakashi Gaiden (the timeskip part of the manga).

Members of Team Minato:

-Minato Namikaze, Jonin, Team Leader (future Yondaime Hokage and Naruto's father)
-Kakashi Hatake, Jonin
-Rin, Medical Kunoichi, Chunin
-Obito Uchiha, Chunin

Team Minato is only known to have gone on one mission, which objective was to destroy a bridge in the Rock Country. The destruction of this bridge would be a huge blow to the Rock shinobi in the battlefield, since that's where their reinforcements would arrive. This mission took place shortly after Kakashi made Jonin, and resulted in the death of Obito. Rin may also be dead, though the reasons behind her possible death are unknown. Kakashi status is unknown but critical from his encounter with Pain during his invasion. The team appears to be very similar to new Team 7. For example, Naruto is similar to Obito, Sakura is similar to Rin (with the exception of how she treats naruto compared to how Rin treated Obito), and Sasuke is similar to Kakashi. Minato's personality traits are similar to Jonin Kakashi's as well.
