YUI, who released the album "My Short Stories", and who has had several television appearances and concert lives before having a hiatus, has played a part in writing songs for a new girl band. This girl band, named "Stereopony", which was formed in Okinawa, consists for three girls in their 10s. They had their major debut last November with the song "Hitohira no Hanabira". Their new song "I do it" will be released in April. This is also the first time YUI wrote songs for others.

YUI and Stereopony have the same recording company and producer. YUI visited Stereopony in Okinawa while having her break. They had a few sessions together before producing the song "I do it".

The guitar-vocalist of Stereopony, AIMI commented joyfully, "We managed to come out with an outstanding product after having a few sessions! It was like a dream, and I'm really glad to have been able to produce such a wonderful song."
YUI also mentioned, "I am looking forward to seeing how they will perform this song live!", YUI also expressed her anticipation to seeing her "juniors" perform.
