Minato is the protagonist of the story. He might be a total loser to some by failing the entrance exam twice for college and being unpopular with ladies. When you get to know him he's really an intelligent (when it doesn't come to the pressure of exams), kind guy that listens to his heart when making decisions.

But his life suddenly changes when he meets Musubi and gets told that he is her Ashikabi. A mysterious set of masters in an awesome battle royale between hordes of cute girls called "Sekireis".
