About Naruto
12 years before Naruto was born, the nine tailed fox attacked Konaha, the nine tailed fox was powerful enough to flatten mountains and change terrains leading to many deaths. The hokage of this time known as the forth hokage sacrificed himself to seal away the nine tailed fox in a new born baby,therefore saving the village. The baby was then named Naruto Uzumaki. 12 years later Naruto graduates from the Ninja Academy using a technique from a forbidden scroll called the shadow clone technique. Soon after Naruto is put in a three-person team with team mates Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno under their sensei Kakashi Hatake carrying out many missions.



About Naruto Shippuden
Naruto Shippuden is the series after Naruto, it takes place 2 1/2 years later which Naruto spent the time on training with Jiraiya, now Naruto is 15 years old. The Akatsuki now takes a bigger role in the anime, with their goal to world domination. Naruto's one mission at the moment is to save a former member of squad 7 (Sasuke Uchiha) from Orochimaru, willing to go to any length to save him. Over the 2 1/2 years all his friends had improved their ranks some more than others
