    Violence beneath a peaceful illusion.
    Season end edit

This begins by getting off to a roaring start, and it gives a good impression of potential for this story. From the quotation at the beginning, and the troubled dream of our MC, to the military based gym class and hints at underlying social currents. Things are initially looking promising for this series as circumstances rapidly slide into chaos, but the story and character ...

    So bad it's hilarious
I was really looking forward to this show; the premise is interesting and the game series looks excellent. And honestly, with better writing and budget, it could've become a sci-fi classic with ease. As is, however, it simply starts out all right and goes downhill, becoming particularly entertaining for just how ridiculous and inconsistent it is in its final few episodes. Random characters from ...

Ignore any review before episode 6/7!
The show starts off as just ok. Not geat, not bad just ok; I'd say a 3, worth 23 minutes a week but not worth marathoning.

At episode 6 they add a new perspective and at episode 7 they add a whole new level of interesting. At this point I find myself actually anticipating next week. While personally I feel it deserves a 4-4.5 I gave it a 5 to balance out for all the people who gave it a 1 after ...

Don't take this anime at face value... it's AWESOME!
The initial reviews claimed this show was nothing special and left me skeptical... the first episode starts off a bit slow and typical but it picks up quickly! The second episode is a bit of the same way, but ultimately this show is about freaking TIME TRAVEL and THE END OF TIME AS WE KNOW IT.

tldr; Not another anime about tits. I've seen almost zero fan service-y BS so far other than this one ...

    Great potential, completely ruined
Interesting concept, executed interestingly initially with a midway predictable but entertaining plot twist.

Then it simply becomes erratic and stupid unfortunately, they stop fighting when it's convenient and instantly start up again whenever they feel like it with no explanation or even objection. The bad guy turns were just so awful and just completely out of left field (and what limited ...

average at best; terrible at worst.
So it starts of with ordinary high schoolers being suddenly thrust into a war against parallel versions of themselves from another dimension. (Am I the only person who knows this was kind of a plot point in the short lived TV "Fringe"?). Okay it's got cool characters that are designed well and a brave and mysterious world to explore and explain. It even provides a somewhat reasonable ...

Interesting just stick with it all the way.
Gunslinger throws a lot at you at first but if you watch it until the end its worth it. The main character grows in ways he couldn't possibly with a likable and fun supporting cast. I'd recommend watching all 12 episodes before making up your mind and I think you'll end up liking the ending.

Tough Beginning but Entertaining in the End
Gunslinger Stratos is an interesting anime that leaves you going... "What just happened?" for both good and bad reasons. While it has an interesting premise for a story, it rotates between periods of slow conversation and character "development" and then throws a **** ton of information at you in a few minutes. Early on, I found myself watching episodes back to back because I had no idea what was ...

  • The Animation was a little rough, buuuuut
I didn't like the how the Animation looked rough, but the story had some potential...I wish that another author would look at this anime to see how the story line is and make it his own, but not rush anything...It seems like this whole show was rushed, that's why I gave it 2 stars.

  • Decent but could skip
Had hoped to really enjoy this one, started off grate yet along the line like it lost something; don't know how to word it but the end result was feeling rather board. OCD pushed me to the end which I am glad about. It has a rather cute ending and things are mostly tied up decently but overall feel I could have skipped this one.
