  • If you watch this, you will NOT UNDERSTAND what is going on
    The only thing going for this anime is its music. If there was an award for "saying a lot but not getting an actual message across" then this anime would win it. I'm serious, the characters in this show say a lot and you will NOT understand what they were trying to say in the first place.

  • If you have time to kill this show will pass time
    I remember watching .hack//sign when i was school and i have always like this series of shows but this is not it. The only reason im giving to show 4 star because it feels things in about the video game series which i just pick up on steam.     Same problems as .hack//sign
    This series exists as a prequel to the hack//gu games, showing how Haseo met Ovan and Shino, and joined their guild. Unfortunately it shares the same problems as the first .hack series, in that it's a lot of time spent watching the characters do nothing but talk to each other, with action scenes few and far between.     average show better choices in genre
    I would suggest either sword art online or log horizon as much better shows covering the same genre.

    That said, it is not a terrible anime.. it does have slow pacing and limited action.

    It suffers the problem most anime based on a game have. 1) No real story to base the progression of the anime on which a light novel or manga brings to an anime. 2) they are playing to 2 audiences.. ...
