    Episode 1 - First Thoughts
I've never felt compelled to write a short review after one episode, but here we go.

First off, let's be fair and remind ourselves that it's on episode 1. There are *many* chances for improvement along the line. This review is based on first impressions only.

Most of the reviews here discuss the art style and art direction of the show, both of which are, well, awful. The show has absolutely ...

I'm lost and don't want to find my way out
DNF at two episodes, but I just can't bring myself to try the third

The CGI I can deal with. It's distracting at times, but it's not nearly as bad as other CGI heavy shows. A bigger problem with the animation is that I think the animators are striving to make their protagonists move as little as possible while still keeping this an action series. The fighting I saw was, unsurprising, pretty ...

I Gave This the Old College Try And Now I Regret Everything
    Its awful.
+1 star because Koyori is adorable.
    I'd give this like a 2.5 myself.
    Spoilers.

The story barely makes sense, like its all based around a hypothetical god they dont know exists that may or may not grant wishes. Everything is also named after ancient Mesopotamian things. Ziggurat being 'Temple' or more amusingly 'to build a raised area'.

They gain their magical CGI powers in ...

Interesting animation style, Episode 4 update
Episode 1 review (3/5 stars); "Read More" for Episode 4 update.

If you watch, do not stop within 5-8 minutes; the odd panning/zooming stuff stops (I suspect it is intended for "show-off" purposes). What I find most interesting about this show is that typically static background people and objects are animated. There is also an interesting color usage for the shading of some scenes.

    As for ...

    I know why you're here...
... you probably heard about how awful this show is and decided to check it out. I can reassure you that you heard correctly! The 3D and 2D elements look fine independently, but on the screen together they look absolutely awful. I became nauseous within the first minute of watching them (and that was before the stereotypical villain started stomping on a girl's crotch...)

I just... hate everything about this
This show feels like the start of a joke: A CGI programmer, an animator, and an artist walk into a bar...

seriously though, I feel like we had three different people writing assets without any knowledge of each others work. The characters look nice, but they look out of place on the very detailed picturesque backgrounds. The CGI is competent, but it doesn't fit in with ANY of the other art ...

    Do you like motion sickness?
I wanted to give this a chance seeing as how it's only the first episode. Try all you want, you will not be able to pay attention to the plot in this show. The ridiculous visuals go way over the top in a bad way that distracts the viewer from what's actually going on. The cg is..well, terrible, to be frank. I had to take a break after a little bit from eye strain because of the utterly awful ...

Nausea with a side of Seizures - Hand Shakers
I'm sure many of the other reviews have already talked about the mind numbing CGI/Animation style of this show. But honestly, the ineptitude of the director can not really be understated here.

In the first few scenes, we have this fish eye lens effect that is being used. This gave me a horrible bought of simulation sickness (and I was watching on my tablet). Then we finally are introduced to ...

    Changing the style of Anime....poorly
Was looking forward to watching this series, but I have to agree with a lot of the reviews so far that state that the animations are...lacking. It is trying to have its own unique style, but its not visually pleasing. It left my eyes feeling strained, and with a minor headache afterwards. I am all for uniqueness as long as its done right.

Surrealism with a hint of hallucinogens and a dash of WTF?
I know it's only the first EPS but I will mainly talk about the animation's stylist contract and just the whole feel of this show.

First off I think they were trying to really make this animation style SUPER SURREAL and Visual wise aesthetically over the top and I feel as if the whole production studio was on hallucinogens while making this show.

In other words they just WENT HAM on the ...
