Hayate no Gotoku, The Overall View.
Hayate no Gotoku may seem like a substandard harem anime at first, but after some careful watching I found this anime to be quite amazing. The characters are very well done and are extremelly fun to watch, and some are just plain awesome (HINAGIKU). The story revolves around a 16 year old boy who ends up with a giant debt and has to repay it by working as a butler to a 13 year old girl named Nagi. ...

Thats one for your DVD shelf
Wow! I never expected to see Hayate become such a hit. I was there when the first chapters were released online, and i thought it was just another romantic comedy but for some reason it stuck with me and now i cant get enough, and you reading this cant ether! The story can become confusing at times if you don't pay attention, but other wise, everything else is great. I love that CR has HD ...

Satire, but it has its own story and charm
This is the best satirical anime series I've seen so far. It makes fun of every manga, anime, or drama that you have ever seen, while still having delightful characters and a intriguing plot of its own. I go on binges of this show when I'm having a slow time, because it's ridiculous you can't help but open your heart and laugh.

Funny Romance that cracks me Up!
Hayate No Gotoku is an anime for people who like Comedy with romance. Obviously I love all the characters and how they act. This manga turns me upside down. I mean if you're a person into comedy and romance, you should check this out when you can! It has already released 20 episodes so that should be enough for you to watch it and catch up with the current airing. Why don't you do us a favor and ...

Even better than the first Series
Hayate the Combat Butler is a crazy romantic comedy that loves to reference and parody anime and manga. It's a fun series and, while the continuation follows on in the same spirit, there are some clear differences in the direction this around.

Whereas the first series increasingly used anime-original plotlines as it went on, the new series is strictly following the manga material. This ...

    I luv Hayate no Gotoku!!
Hayate no Gotoku!! is the sequel to Hayate no Gotoku! Nagi is just a normal rich girl. Wait! Is that exactly normal?! Well, anyway since shes rich she gets kidnapped a lot. Hayate is a normal boy. Wait a sec. Is lying about his age to get a job, having neglective parents, and having a huge debt put on his shulders on Christmas cause of his parents exactly normal? Well, it's only obvious that these ...

I Love it! Hayate no Gotoku PWNS~!
I love this show. It's got everything a good show needs, and then some. The characters are fruity and awesome, there's a splash of cross dressing and romance here and there....

Hayate no Gotoku! is about a 16 year old boy name Ayasaki Hayate, who is abandoned by his parents and left with a large debt on Christmas Eve. In an act of desperation, he attempts to kidnap a girl and hold her for ...

The manga's great. Season 1 was average. What about season 2?
Personally, I prefer the storyline in the manga than the anime. It is because of the storyline in the manga has more content compared to what was aired in season 1(which had 52 eps) which was mostly random comedy(not that it's bad...but did not focus on the story). But the second season seemed to follow up on the story in the manga.

The first season started off following the manga closely which ...
