An Utterly Worthless Cashgrab at Nostalgia And Beginners to Anime.
Edit As Of August 26th, By Peripheralvisionary (Please Read): You may disagree with the review I laid out before, and that is fine. You may think these first episodes are great, and more power to you. Maybe I have too high a standards or too warped of what entertainment should. However, upon viewing Episode 7 of the 4th Season, viewers be aware. It is nothing more than an edited rerun of ...

    6 episodes and then....reruns??
I don't really understand what this season is doing. The first 6 episodes are really good. The stories are really entertaining and the focus of the characters is really interesting and a sad story. This season started off really good, and the animation style has gotten a lot better and even more beautiful. So...what I don't understand is why, after 6 episodes, the series goes to....reruns? I don't ...

  • Hell Girl is awesome
BUT! Season 4 is kind of a wash. If you want to truly experience the magic that is Hell Girl you need to start with season 1 episode 1. Overall this show is a beautiful blend of drama, dark humor, and thought provoking story lines. You won't be able to stop watching once you're hooked. 11/10 would recommend.

  • Really cool show, but half of season is re-runs
Ill start pay saying that I have never seen the other seasons of Hell Girl, so, I am not taking points off for the re-runs and basing my review only on the content in the season.

I liked it a lot. I am a fan of dark anime, and this show is pretty dark. It definitely showcases some of the worst humanity has to offer, but from perspective of hell girl and her crew, it is seen a neutral light. ...

  • Ultra disappointing waste of a show
The first couple of episodes were new material, most of which was cringy. After that, the show got lazy, and just rehashed episodes from previous seasons. They shouldn't have even bothered with this trash. The episodes feel like the same thing rehashed over and over, and most of it just feels like complete crap. Each episode is about as awful as watching a pigeon hyped up on laxatives for 24 ...

Half a season & Rest Reruns
When I first found out about Season 4 of this series, I was hyped. This is a series that knows how to grab you suspensefully & emotionally. Whether you like to admit it or not, every episode can "trigger" you in so many ways. And that is the best thing that I liked about Hell Girl as a whole.

Each Season's main story is different, but as a whole, Hell Girl is about Enma Ai, a damned soul who ...

The Morals of the Hell Girl . . .
It is late. A little after midnight, in fact. You sit alone, hunched over the glow of your computer in a darkened room. You have just clicked an on-screen button. A button you really should not have clicked. It has sent a simple message - a single name, the name of your tormentor. In the anxious silence that follows, you become uncomfortably aware that perhaps, you are not alone. You turn, ...

Truly, much better than i ever expected
Honestly, I started watching this show as a time filler, for when the anime I knew I liked ---and watched--- wasn't on, and I was out of episodes. Therefore, I really wasn't expecting too much, just a dark show with dark comedy and while those things are both true, it's much more than that. It's also quite a thought-provoking show, and the main story intrigues you. The whole show really makes you ...
