Crunchyroll Affiliate Program FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about the Crunchyroll Affiliate Program, updated April 15, 2009

What is the Crunchyroll Affiliate Program?

The Crunchyroll Affiliate Program is a way for you to make money by advertising the Crunchyroll Anime Membership.

How does it work?

First apply for the Crunchyroll Affiliate Program. After your application has been approved, you become a Crunchyroll Affiliate and can start advertising and making money. If you have a website, blog, or popular profile pages, you can advertise by copying-and-pasting html code for images and other widgets that we provide. You can also send your friends a direct affiliate link that we provide. If people click through your links and purchase on our site, you will earn money.

How much money can I make?

If someone purchases it through your link, you get 10% of the revenue of the first payment. For example, if someone purchases a 12 Month Membership for $59.95, you will get $5.99.

When do I get paid?

When your affiliate account balance reaches $100 or more, you can request a payment from us. To reduce our overhead, you may request a maximum of one payment every 30 days. Checks take 7-14 days to process and deliver.

Who is eligible to sign up?

Any individual or company that has an audience related to Crunchyroll's demographic and content can sign up. Your application will be subject to approval. We will review your application site to make sure it does not violate copyright, contain adult materials, and other unsuitable activities as outlined in the Affiliate Terms of Service.
